There was a Hawks game in Tampa some 20 years ago that had a rain delay. I can remember seeing the runoff water carrying paper cups and all sorts of garbage as it cascaded down the stairs of the stadium.

Oh yeah! That "rain storm" blurred the lines with "flood". I half expected to see someone building a big boat and rounding up animals. I remember it being all over SportsCenter too.

I remember because you couldn't throw the ball so i was begging them to pull the QB and run a wildcat type offense.

Remember it well. Just watching that vid makes football of the 80s/90s seem more authentic (and more desirable) compared to today's version.
