Just read an article about Lumen Field putting undercover cops in the crowd for Seahawks games. Apparently we have the 5th most violent and unruly stadium after the Vikings, Broncos, Texans, and the Chiefs. And here I thought Philly fans were the worst people on earth.

Indianapolis though…walking with my young (at the time) kids and had to endure every curse word you can think of while walking up to the stadium.

Had it not been for my family being with me, I would’ve took some Colts fan teeth with me that night.

Also, Lumen being the 5th most violent stadium is wholly inaccurate. They were talking about neighborhoods where stadiums were located and their crime rate. Of course stadiums located directly in the urban center are going to have higher crime rates around them than stadiums in suburban areas away from urban centers.

The fact that they're there, as far as I can tell, has nothing to do with comparative stats of actual violent behavior in stadiums.

I went to a game in Washington and everyone around us were really cool. Was a real nice change from Philly games.

Last I heard, Brietbart was an aggregater that just linked to articles/web sites written by others, often referencing conspiracy sites and outright people with biases.

There probably are stats about violence at stadiums in local LEO databases. Doesn't look like anybody is doing a real national study about it. The comment about location sounds very important to me. Headlines are often misleading and Brietbart often goes a step farther with its clickbait headers.

Coming from the espn correspondent article, I'll go with it. Fan polls, yeah, it's not scientifically provable. So I will withdrawal the ipossibility of being the 5th most violent stadium. But coupling the ESPN guy and the fan poll, can we say we might have the 5th most "violence aware " fans at our stadium ? I'm surprised, as I was when i read the posted article, that the Seahawks are even in the conversation. I would think Lumen Field would be average in that regard.
