I hope Tyreke Smith makes the practice squad, seems like he did well in preseason and if he can get back to form he could be a great rotational guy. He was a stud at Ohio State before his injury.

Probably the most undervalued position. Centers are big blockers who can snap the ball, Long Snappers are guys who can deliver that ball with pinpoint accuracy. Snapping a ball 20-25 feet into a small window is harder than it looks and screwing it up can cost you points and give opponents great field position if not points

We tried that 10+ years ago...added a LS as a priority after ST issues went throught he roof. Don't discount the importance of a skilled LS. That ball exchange is risky and challenging.

The long snapper now’s exactly how many revolutions the ball spins before it gets to the holder. A good snap the ball comes to the holder with the laces already out. I think it is two and one half revelations. A very specialized position
