Not gonna lye, lots of plays got titrated, absolutely neutralized.
I hardly remember any Chem 101, but I do recall an acid-base titration lab where we were tasked with determining if Heinz vinegar was 5% acidic as claimed. Nobody knew how to pronounce phenolphthalein. Spoiler: the Heinz was indeed 5% on the nose.
