We've had quite a few distractions this week.

Rams being sore losers and wanting to debate the 4th down call

Lazy storylines about Sam Darnold seeing ghosts

The Seahawks being up for sale

Klint Kubiak jumping ship to the Raiders

While this is a lot, imagine if all of this was happening the week of the Superb Owl. Hopefully, we've got all the dumb story lines out of the way and the team can focus on football

If you all remember, the week before SB XL it was "one for the thumb" and "get one for the bus." Hopefully the men keep their heads down, channel the "we do not care" attitude of the coach and come into the game razor sharp.

I was nervous for media week during the LOB years, but Marshawn took care of that for us.

"I'm just about that action" response from Marshawn destroyed any storylines Deion Sanders was trying to generate

"I'm just here so I don't get fined" was another beautiful zinger that gave top cover to the Seahawks all week

If my 'we do not care' shirt is here in time, I'll wear it instead of my Navy game jersey.

We'll be fine, just losing respect for those tossing out the distractions.

That's not confirmed, that's someone outside of the NFL saying it happened.
As I stated the NFL denied it fined us, someone is trying to stir up a bunch of shit this week, can't wait till next week, I am sure it will be something like Jody is having an affair with Mike or John, who knows but they seem to be intent on making our two weeks before the game as miserable as they can.

This is interesting, from that article: "News of the fine comes in the aftermath of reports that the Seahawks will be sold after the Super Bowl. The team’s official position is that it is not for sale."

Additional info.

Andrew Beaton of the Wall Street Journal reports that the league has fined the Seahawks $5 million in 2025 for failure to comply with ownership requirements.

The Darnold one won't end until Sam goes out there and kicks the Patriots ass next sunday.

Coaches and players are not even paying attention to that stuff. They have a game to prep for and a whole offseason to gossip.

Hopefully we aren't tempting fate and everyone is healthy etc. At least our receivers haven't got in a fight the night before the game so far.

Patriots are due some noise/drama

Since DEC 14th Seahawks rest/recovery days in between games have been:

7, 4, 10, 6, 14, 8, and now 14

Patriots in that time frame had their bye in week 14 but they’ve played as consistent of a schedule you could ask for since then:

13, 7, 7, 7, 7, 7, 7, 7, and now 14.

Relevant because Seahawks had two long stretches of 10 and 14 games sandwiched between two game stretches where they dealt with a lot similar “noise” and “distractions” only to show up and handle business. Mission Over Bullshit.

If any team has an uphill climb dealing with the extra time off and enduring the onslaught of extra “noise” and “distractions” and staying on schedule I’m definitely looking at the Patriots whom played every Sunday since Week 15 for 7 straight games and now have to switch coasts to prepare for this last game plus deal with all the media frenzy in between a 14 day stretch. And our owner issues isn’t like their owner issues even though talk of that is seemingly being swept under the rug and scrubbed from the net.
