No Cuts yet, Id imagine the will start to trickle in today. Any surprises?
I don't see any way they cut him, but I can respect a differing opinion. I think the 6th and 7th round picks are all on the block.Jalen Milroe.
I know I’ll catch some serious heat and laugh reacts, but I’m serious. And I understand I’ve put a similar message on another thread, so I’m not trying to spam the forum with my disrespect of Jalen Milroe, but I’ll say the following:
Yes, he’s a project, etc. However, I don’t think he has nearly the limitless ceiling that a lot of folks thinks he has. He appears rather limited and has several issues to his game that may be too much to overcome. And to top it all off, if they were hoping he’d be a gadget guy and the guy getting his tush pushed on short yardage, I don’t even trust him to hold onto the ball now.
I’d rather they hang onto someone who’s currently on the bubble and has a better chance to contribute, like Singleton, Wright, and White.
If the team wants a dual threat QB, they can look in next years draft. If they want a QBOTF, look in next years draft. Milroe is not that guy, imo.

Milroe isn't going to be cut.Jalen Milroe.

I could see Cabeldue making the bottom of the roster as a project. There's a multi-way battle for depth positions and as a drafted rookie he might have the most upside. I would be concerned if he was needed early in the season. He's not NFL ready at this point.I think they keep 6th rounder OG Bryce Cabeldue. Maybe WR Ricky White?

There are currently at least 6 WRs ahead of White. He could make the PS, especially if the Seahawks move on from MVS.
I honestly couldn't say. I downloaded the 3 Rams and Seahwks games from a certain Russian site and those were the only 6 preseason games I watched. I specifically focused on the trenches. What other backup guards would you feel good about coming in and starting early in the season?
Milroe is a lock. I say that agreeing with most of what @Jerhawk says. Dude had a shitty game, the kind a 6th rounder doesn’t make it back from. A third rounder though gets a lot more leverage.
Hyperbolic tosh. Milroe is a project. He ain't going nowhere, especially considering he didn't play behind a single starting o-lineman on Saturday.Jalen Milroe.

Not sure if it's official but I saw on MSN (SBNation article) that Tuputala has been waived. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nf...sn&cvid=633cb68e31904c3e957c6b4c8a4a9f7a&ei=6
I seriously hope not. But I have to admit that the thought crossed my mind after Packers. I want to see this team making a serious effort in developing Milroe. But if they don’t believe, that could be on table.Jalen Milroe.

If he was a 1st round pick with obvious potential, I’d be on board with using a roster spot for him to sit. Milroe does not fall in that category. Macdonald can’t afford to have a wasted roster spot on the slim chance Milroe becomes a starting caliber QB in 3 years. Nothing he has displayed so far gives promise that he has the ability to diagnose a defense, to throw accurately on a consistent basis and tilt the field in his favor. Now top it off with ball security issues, lackluster game time speed against NFL backups, and he was going against other team’s second, third, fourth stringers…Hyperbolic tosh. Milroe is a project. He ain't going nowhere, especially considering he didn't play behind a single starting o-lineman on Saturday.
