I met some Brits in Jacksonville several years ago at our game there. The bar was starting to close down and they messed up as the game just had ended. I was the first one there and they kept open as the crowd started to get to the bar and wanted to eat too. I did not get dinner because they were closing down. Dammit.

Safest ticket outlet is ticket master or stub hub.
Obviously if you get an inside line from a confirmed season ticket holder/ friend that’s good to.
Tickets are sky high in terms of prices, don’t sacrifice safety to save a few bucks, not worth it when you’re already investing so much.

Temple Billiards is always a fun place to get your pregame funk on.
Typically the spot.net folks meet up.
Thank you for the heads up!

Keep in mind I’m only looking for 1

Kinda a hard ask from someone that has two.
I am almost certainly looking for three now. If you find four, let me know. I’ll do the same.

Hell if you find two I will likely take your second.

If you have a Capital One card and intend to buy tickets from StubHub - first download the Capital One Shopping app and make sure to install the extension to your browser(s). Then look for offers from StubHub. It saved me $2,000 on tickets to last year’s CFP National Championship. It saved me $1,100 on tickets to this weekend’s Hawks game. “Savings” are given in the form of rebates that can be applied to gift cards to all sorts of retailers that you might actually use. For example, I got $700 of gift cards to Petco, where we buy our dogs’ food. So, if they have deals with retailers that you would use anyway, it’s pretty much like cash back. They have a decent list of retailers signed up. You can even get a StubHub gift card if you want.

In both of my instances with StubHub, I got emails from Capital One Shopping which offered 20% rebates. I noticed that after I spent some time on various web sites, like StubHub, I started getting targeted emails based on the app’s extension tracking me. They also have some smaller rebate offers which can be found on the app. However - the email is the one you want to get.

I’ll look into it.
I have a venture card.

I have the same. I thought this whole thing was BS when I heard about it last year. Then my wife discovered a couple of months ago that we actually had $2,000 of these rebates sitting in our Capital One Shopping account, which is tied to the Venture card. I conveniently got another 20% StubHub rebate offer about two weeks ago, just as I started looking at tickets for this weekend. Funny how that works.

Also - just as a general PSA - anybody who has a Capital One card and likes to save money online needs to be using the Capital One Shopping app. Here is another example why: I was on the Oakley web site a few days ago, looking at a $138 replacement lens. Put it in my “basket” but decided not to buy. Was just looking at my account on the Shopping app and lo and behold - I have an offer to buy that lens for $$92. 33% off.

I love sitting in the south end zone. That’s where I sat for the last two NFCCGs. Can’t really see a lot of the game, but the part you can see is phenomenal. And the crowd is awesome. I have broken glasses and a dislocated jaw to show for it, but it was worth it.

I probably won’t spend more than $1,300 per ticket. Mostly I don’t want to pay $1,300 for $700 seats.
Looks like right around the 1150-1300 is what it’s going to take just to get in a seat.

Anything mid 300 and lower and the price goes up significantly

I’m not sure if they will drop or rise closer to game day

20 years makes a huge difference. I went to the WC and the NFCCCG in 05' for under 1000 total

Hbtickets is the way to go
I singed up yesterday.
Had to become a paid member of his patreon group (don’t mind one bit).

But dang that system is hard to navigate.
And I even saw a couple of reviews on sellers that didn’t inspire any confidence in the process.
Seems like he tries to vet people, but he even says to be “careful for scammers”
Not sure I’m willing to risk 2k without a guarantee of some sort.
I get it, HBtix is nothing more than a a way to get together with someone selling, and I certainly wouldn’t mind going that route if the ticket was only a couple hundred.

I absolutely respect the sentiment and theory of trying to keep tickets in the hands of SEAHAWK FANS.

Agree. I’m thinking of saving the site for the future. Bought a 1-year subscription. I’ll vet sellers by buying in-season tix, where I’m risking a few hundred dollars, unless the seller is otherwise vetted.

There is one particular listing that is really sus. The section listed doesn’t exist. Could be a typo, but I wouldn’t risk it.

It’s the kind of great idea that could grow over time, if managed right.

Of course one could use an escrow service for the transaction, but it would have to be a really good deal to offset the expense of the escrow.

I deleted the tickets I referenced in case it’s a TOS violation on either site.

My friend who sits next to me, is selling 2 of HIS seats. Face value, STH price is a little over 400 each. He's debating on asking 1000 each, but taking offers. I bet he would take 1400-1500 for the pair. Shoot me a PM if you want me to pass on an offer.
