Good point, but it's not only about the games he "misses," it's also about the games he is "limited" in due to injuries. Not sure where I read/saw it, but I believe the typical NFL RB misses 3-5 games per season with various injuries. Expecting them to go 17 every year is unrealistic. Having two top runners is a good idea. Having 3 is a luxury.
K9, Charbs, and Holani sounds like a pretty good stable to me.
Here's the breakdown. While he only "missed" 6 games in 2024, he was "limited" in another 4 games, bringing that total up to 10 games either missed or limited.
In games where he was limited, he only averaged 6 carries per game.
| Season | Games Played | Games Limited | Avg. Carries/Game | Avg. Carries (Limited Games) | Avg. Carries (Non-Limited Games) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2022 | 15 | 2 | 15.20 | 6.0 | 16.62 |
| 2023 | 14 | 3 | 14.43 | 6.0 | 16.73 |
| 2024 | 11 | 4 | 13.91 | 6.0 | 18.43 |
I hope his carries per game trends upward in 2025.
