IMO Wright runs like Sean Alexander. I was very impressed with his focus, his vision and his cut.
If you watch his tape, he actually sometimes seeks contact and does not go down easy. That was not very much like Alexander. Not saying Alexander would go down on the first contact, but this guy is a more punishing type of runner again if you have seen his tape like I have.

I particularly watched Zanel and he looked like a beast. Absolutely stonewalling and bulldozing people. Very very impressed.
I liked what I saw from Zanel as well. I was impressed with the online overall.

The middle letter in the name needs a bit more ink. Close off the bottom with a rounded line, and raise the short bar on the left to flag post height, and you've got it.
I quoted Seabowl. To the letter haha

Least impressed with the “laser” measuring system. I’m not sure what problem it solves. The refs still have to spot the ball. How many times have you ever thought the chain crew was off (and not the spot?).

Never! The answer is never once in 40 years of watching football. Completely unnecessary and stupid to have everyone standing around waiting on someone/something that isn’t on the field

Martinez looked like bullshit offensively and on special teams. Dude needs to play like his job is on the line.

The first thing that impressed me was that for a preseason game it was entertaining the whole game.

I believe that we saw 4 out of 5 starters on the offensive line. Lucas was in at RT and I don’t think I saw a brace on his knee. Huge positive. Bradshaw looks like he will most likely be the RG. Grey Zabel is a rookie? I don’t think it will be long before he’s considered one of the best of the starting 5. Jalen Sundell, if he hasn’t beaten Olu out of the starting job yet, will by the time the season starts. That left Cross as the only starter missing. I like the potential of this line.

Lock looked solid enough to start games if needed. I really look forward to him to be trade bait somewhere along the way. Milroe definitely showed some chops but he seemed to exhibit a little bit of rookie hesitation. I love that he doesn’t need to start this year. Or maybe even next. Bring him along slowly. Too many QBs have been ruined by needing to start right away. I was telling my daughter yesterday that the Milroe situation reminds me more of the Mahomes situation than the RW situation.

I’m excited about the RBs and the running game. Never once last year did the offense look as comfortable and competent needing to run the ball as they did last night in the first preseason game. Robbie Outz?? I knew he was my adopt a rookie for a reason. Really looking forward to the Ouuutttttzzzzzz chants at home games. You want a hard nosed running game that puts the fear in opposing DCs? Outz is the hammer in that tool belt.

MVS was looking a little nervous on the sideline after watching Tory Horton doing his thing. If he isn’t yet, Horton will be the third WR. MVS could be a cut candidate. Will be interesting to see how much the guys who didn’t play last night (starters?) get some playing time in the next two preseason games. MVS might want some playing time to prove he can contribute.

Arroyo is going to be a fun player to watch. Between him and AJ Barner the TE room looks solid.

Gotta say I completely forgot about Tyreke Smith. I know there was a lot of hype about him when he was drafted. I actually thought he was cut a long time ago and on a different team. Looks like his redshirt years might have done him some good. Along with getting healthy.

In a limited amount of snaps Emmanwori flashed what looks to be a good trade up for a guy at the top of the second round.

Mike Morris looks like he wants to remain a Seahawk. Good outing by him.

Neither Tyrice Knight or EJIV played last night. Slightly concerned about the LB depth behind them.

Overall if you were not excited about this draft class before last nights game and you still have reservations about it, I would gently suggest that you have your eyes checked or undergo post traumatic draft pick therapy. This draft class is the kind of draft class that you dream about. Chuck Knox used to talk about “impact players”. I think we could see in the neighborhood of at least five impact type players this season out of this class.

This is well said - agree with it all. Since we all have so much to look forward to and a lot of positives mentioned - I will mention my biggest concern after Week 1 which was also mentioned here is LB depth. It felt like we were exposed in middle coverage later in the game down the depth chart. I see that as a position we must continue to reshape and accrue talent going forward.
