Pre season kickoff is currently a little over 24 hours away! Huzzah!!

For tomorrow’s game, which player or players do you plan to keep a close eye on? Somebody that might be on the bubble and you’re curious what they can contribute, or maybe some position battle between a couple guys you’re interested in?

Low hanging fruit regarding this discussion will be Jalen Milroe. We’ve talked about him a ton on here, and we should get a long look at him in some game action tomorrow. If he’s your choice, let it be heard.

For me, I’ll stick with the offensive side of the ball and go with Damien Martinez. I really want to know what this kid can do. It’ll be sort of a crapshoot behind backup linemen, but he should get plenty of opportunities.

Second guy for me is Bobo. Honestly, considering the buzz around Horton and other receivers on the depth chart, this is truly a make it or break it pre season for Bobo imo.

How about you folks?

Of note are those who have added weight/strength during the off season. Michael Jerrell appears to have added 15 lbs. Cody White looks to have added 12 lbs. Charles Cross is listed about 6 lbs heavier. There are others.

Indications of off season gains in motility and technique are additional attributes to look forward to discovering.

Scouts will be looking for prospects to claim at the season opening cut down. It's like another free agent event for teams to fill holes in their lineup.

This is a fun time of the year for fans.

Can't wait to get to the stadium. Pre-Season or not, it's football time.

Milroe, Emmanwori and Zabel for sure, as far as who I'm looking most forward to seeing.
If you have the day off, you could even catch the Mariners in the afternoon, go grab a bite to eat, get sh*tfaced before kickoff, and have a fun time!

My friend and I seriously considered doing the double shot, just wasn't in the cards with work schedules etc. Did a Hawks/Kraken double shot last year, that was a blast.
My wife and I are going on vacation to Florida in September and will be watching the Saints game in Tampa at a Hawks bar. Kind of cool. At least we'll be around other Hawks fans. Sucks to miss a home game, pretty rare, but plans came way before the schedule came out.

I would like to see Cabeldue have a good outing, along with all those who show on the O Line.
Looking forward to seeing Emmanwori and Arroyo at game speed.
It would be a nice comfort to see our rook RB have a big night.
MILROE. Probably won't mean much for this year but it sure would be fun to see what's in the pipeline for our future.
Lock has earned some good reps. Too bad he won't have a starting line to work behind. But it will be fun to see if we can spot coaching influence as a positive effect on our offensive linemen, starters or otherwise.

Schneider will feature two players in this game:

Milroe,
A QB wanted by Chip Kelly, Milroe is everything Chip wanted in a QB. We snatched him before Raider could act.

Emmanwori
Pete was drooling after the enhanced version of Kam, lol, Schneider traded up to snatch him.

Yes, Macdonald will play these two.

Nothing fancy for me. The Rookies. I'll also be watching/hoping to see if any amongst the marginal players (many of whom I'm not really familiar with) stands out in some way in this opportunity for them to do so.

Go Hawks!

I'll be interested in how Lock/Milroe play. If Milroe is consistent enough, that might make Lock dispensable. If Lock plays well enough it might make him tradeable.

In the first scenario, we gain a roster spot; in the latter we get an asset.
