That was a very Mariners win. Good pitching. HR’s. And never easy 9th inning.

Not sure about Bryce Miller, but Evans is a good insurance back end starter.

Pretty clear we need another reliever, only high leverage guys we can trust are Brash, Bazardo, Spier and Munoz.

I know Naylor is not the gold answer to the offense but
he fills the need for a 1B who can field and hit above.250
so hopefully they don't keep pitching around Cal.

As for 3B even if we don't get Geno, I'm ok with BW and his
glove.
He hits better than a few vets on this team and that exceeds my
expectations from a rookie.
Oddly enough he may be part of the trade for Geno if it happens.

I would hate to trade Williamson away. I see a bright future there. With Naylor, our infield defense is pretty strong with Williamson, JP, Young, and Naylor. Would like to see that develop.

I don't want him gone either, but I can see if they are going for it all
it could happen to get Geno's bat in there.

I say that as well, but have read they are saying his glove has slowed down. That was national writers saying that. I thought they said that when we got him from Reds and then he was a stud so I don't know.

Add a good 3B or RF to that lineup and lookout. Then a late inning flame thrower and we would have just as good of a shot as anyone. That is all you can ask for.
