Yes. It goes to some of these guys heads and they feel that their talent doesn’t require the needed effort.

He's just a hard one to figure out. I know he's fairly new to the position, but there are times when he looks shutdown. Only to look like he's confused and/or doesn't care the next series.

Let's hope Lawrence still has something left in the tank at age 33. He was a monster in 2017 and 2018. In 2017, he had 14.5 sacks, 26 QB hits, 58 tackles and 14 TFLs. Those are some pretty good numbers.

He's fallen off a bit since then, but still made the Pro Bowl in 2022 and 2023.

Maybe not for an interior D lineman, but edge rushers, who rely on speed and quickness, often fall off at that age. JJ Watt retired at age 33. Von Miller was not the same in his 30s.

There are exceptions of course, like the great Reggie White, who was still great at age 37, even winning defensive player of the year.

Does anyone think Lawrence might have been acquired because of Nwousu's injury history ? I'm not implying they're the same position or "type" as I'm sure they have different skills .

I'm still hoping they can get him back on the field this decade . He's had one good season out of 3 ? What the...

It’s a fair question. Obviously the Seahawks knew Nwosu needed to have his knee cleaned up, so it would make sense that they have a solid Plan B.

Based on contracts I would imagine one or the other will be gone next year. It’s just a matter if we have enough quality behind them to man the position.
