What is this crap? M's offense REALLY struggling of late & they're already down 2 runs at home. This magical trade deadline needs to hurry on up so we know if we should start focusing seriously on the Seahawks. This roster has no chance to get it done.

Yet another error by JP ending up turning into an unearned run. That was as routine as it gets. Then......doesn't get to another in the same inning. Wow.

Castillo def. not on his A game today, but damn, a little defense would certainly help. 6 runs, only 3 of them earned.
Raley dropping 2 throws at 1st yesterday. Julio not getting to that ball in the gap the other night.

Defense is not exactly lighting it up lately. Shoot, Williamson looks to be our best defensive player at this point.
One thing about very good teams like the Brewers: You make a mistake; they will rip your heart out.

I'll just say this, through out his career JP has always been a solid, if not outright good defensive SS. That said, he's been struggling on defense lately. He's making a lot of mistakes that are uncharacteristic for him, and also failing to make plays that might not be errors, but are plays that a good MLB SS should make.

So yeah. He needs to get his shit together. I would hope Perry Hill, or one of the other coaches has a "come to Jesus" talk with him.

Absolutely, I've never had a problem with his defense. But lately, dayum.
At some point, you're not playing confident. And he absolutely is not close to confident, currently at least.

Brewers can't hit. Mariners can. This is all an illusion. Ok. Jerry and Justin and Stanton care about building a serious contending line up.

I don't mean to keep piling on DMo, but holy f@ckballs batman. He's 2 for his last 52 with a 50% strike out rate.

Good lord this is painful to watch.
I'm starting to think there may be an issue with suck-ups in the clubhouse.

Guys who have learned how to talk to coaches and are really good at securing chance after chance for themselves long after they've had it.

Pete Carroll mentioned once that he was vulnerable to "not liking giving up on guys". Translated, certain guys knew how to talk to him to keep themselves on the field when they weren't really earning it.

Ouch. Every single batter in this lineup is streaky, even Cal. That's not a good thing.
710 ESPN said that Cal has been at a little under .140 batting average the last 2 plus weeks.

All 5 of the guys you listed, no excuse for batting that horrible. Sure, they have faced good pitching, but come on. They HAVE to step it up. Especially Julio, Randy and JP. Cal has slumped before and was fine. I expect him to come out of it.

I mean, come on. .143 for a leadoff hitter? Brutal
Every player in baseball is "streaky." 🤷‍♂️

Fugly outing today, fer shure.

Not JP's best game by far.

The bottom of their lineup shredded us today.

Need a serious reset tomorrow in Anaheim.
