First to wear #51, John Yarno. 1977 4th round pick of the Seahawks out of Idaho. I once took a piss next to Yarno at the Corner Club in Moscow. He is a foot taller and a hundred pounds more than me. Felt like a small child standing at that urinal.

Yea…Mawae should have retired a hawk. He was exponentially better than the FO estimated him to be.
Loved Lofa for the few years he played. Up to that point, our IL was forgettable at best. Tatupu did an admirable job filling the position.

First Seahawk to wear #50, Greg Collins. Drafted in the 2nd round 1975 by the digits. Played for the Seahawks in 1976.

First Seahawk to wear #49 was also the first Seahawk named Ernie Jones. 1976 5th round pick of the Seahawks.

First to wear #48 for the Seahawks, Keith Simpson. 1978 Seahawks 1st round pick. Simpson wore 48 his first season but 42 for the remainder of his career. Couldn’t find any pictures with him in 48. I was surprised he wore 48 because I only remembered him in 42.one of the first in a long line of good corners for the Seahawks.
Going a different route with today's number.
