But I feel like Arroyo and Tory Horton will both dominate in this offense. Arroyo is like a more athletic version of Darren Waller and Horton was considered a first rounder before the knee injury ended his season in 24’. He could be a huge factor if healthy and we can place Bobo on the practice squad due to lack of foot speed

What a draft class. Whatever your interest, there's something for everybody in it. I'm excited that we're finally kicking off with rookies reporting next week.

Zabel had the top vertical and was top seven in the bench press. He had a great broad jump. Zabel played all along the Oline in 3 seasons. PFF had him graded at 90.4 last season. He did great at the senior bowl speaking to his preparation and tenacity.

Bryce Cabeldue had a RAS of 9.93 as a guard. His PFF grade grew to 80 in his final season. He improved every year. He was better in zone than gap. His arm length projects him to guard in the NFL.

Hard not to be excited about these two rookies on paper. My concern is that it takes 3 years to pop as an olineman. Wish we had some better vets with proven skill in the interim.

We took flyers on at least two guys in recent years that were close to retirement. I feel that has been part of the problem. No continuity.

So people don’t think Bobo will be one of the top 5 wr on the team? Right now I’d say our WR room isn’t a strength of the team. We have JSN, then a oft injured Kupp, and a 1
Year wonder . Lots of question marks surround the group. Bobo is making the team.

Bobo is a great blocker & ST's guy, team player with lots of untapped red zone and 3rd down potential. With his size and blocking skills he fills a niche in case we fall thin at TE.
His blocking adds to the run-game more than any other WR on the roster and I'm pretty sure KK won't abandon the run like in past Seahawk campaigns.
More Bobo.

Whoa whoa whoa what did you say about Bobo?!
He’s got all the intangibles you want at the position but he isn’t fleet of foot and Horton runs a 4.4 and is 6-2”. Bobo would lose a foot race to some O lineman. He’s slower than molasses we just need guys that can stretch the field and separate a little better. Keep Bobo on the practice squad for now. We got Kupp, JSN, MVS and Horton for top 4. Bobo will have to beat out a few other dudes that are faster to snag that 5th spot

Both Olu and Bradshaw are entering their 3rd year. Completely agree that it takes olinemen 2-3 years to “pop” as you stated. This line is ready for the next step.
LT- 4th year (cross)
LG- rookie (Zabel)
C- 3rd year (Olu)
RG- 3rd year (Bradshaw)
RT- 4th year (Lucas)

You’ll have to answer to God himself for these statements. I hope you are prepared for that. I don’t envy you.

Tory Horton is definitely an intriguing pick. In 2023, he had 96 receptions and over 1100 yards and 8 TDs, and a similar year in 2022. So the guy has production as well as the measurables--6'2", 195 lbs, and a 4.4 40 at the combine (but 4.3 before the injury).

Early mock drafts before his injury had him going in the first round:

Time to trade him? Chip Kelly loves him some Bobo, perhaps a 7th-round pick?

According to that “way too early” mock draft from May 2024, the Seahawks got three guys originally mocked in the first round.
Jalen Milroe at pick 5
Tory Horton at pick 28
Ricky White at pick 30

Things that make you go hmmmmmmm……

Exactly. I fully expect to see both Horton and White on our roster. Down the line I could see both in our top four WRs except that White is so valuable for ST play.
As for Zabel, we just need to find a way to clone that guy a few times.

I am warming up to an OL of:

Cross - Haynes - Zabel - Bradford - Lucas

This line has top 10 written all over it. All players drafted by the Hawks, no old fart free agents.
