This heat will be worse today due to less wind, it will be a very humid
energy sapper out there.
I passed n going to the game, no way I'd enjoy sitting there in
that crap.

I was lucky enough to go to Wrigley back in '07. I saw them play Philly and Mets on nice August days. It was a bit warm for a Washington kid but as fun as it gets. My buddy and I sat with the Philly crowd in the bleachers. They were a hoot. They even invited us to Milwaukee for the next Philly series...lol. Good times.

I can't believe other teams are still pitching to Cal with runners on. I mean, chances you're going to get burned by Cal are about as high as it gets in baseball at this point. Chances you're going to get burned by any of the guys behind him in the lineup are pretty slim.

And right after I just posted that, they basically just pitched around Cal there.

I think it’s funny when people say without cal this team would be blah blah blah, you mean like the Yankees without judge or something?

The Yankees would still be pretty good without Judge. The M's would be a waaay under .500 team without Cal.

Not to mention that if the Yankees didn't have Judge, they'd just pay whatever it takes to go get another star player.
