Me too or traded so we don't have to hear Dipoto cry about the payroll restraint again.
Did Dipoto build a good roster this year? I guess we gotta see how it ends. The ebbs and flows of a baseball season just remind of all those flows right oughta the playoffs from the past. Is it normal to feel insane as a mariners fan? Do other teams fans feel nervous about the future every time the team loses? I guess I’m just conditioned to expect coming up short and every loss brings back those feelings of disappointment. I’m ready to unload on Dipoto too so I hope for his sake we make a run this year

Unfortunately, he is the perfect GM/Pres/Whatever for this organization. Makes the team the most money, gets close to keep fan interest, but never wins it all which would just create high expectations that make owners spend out of their comfort zone and gets top brass fired if they can't maintain. He keeps them right in that comfort zone.

The said part is, if he was ever given a Top 10 payroll there would still be no guarantee of winning it all. Top 10 in payroll every year in Anaheim and not one playoff series win. Ouch! Ya, I'm not much of a fan of his.

Good to see him pitching. I hope they get him right BEFORE bringing him back. We don’t him and George struggling while two young pitchers who are doing great get sent back down
Ya the Kirby thing was crazy. He was struggling in Tacoma, and like you said, we had two young guys pitching lights out. Take it slow with Gilbert. We need him for the second half if nothing else.

Awfully quick hook for Emerson.

And it immediately looks like a pretty bad move.
