I was teasing in my post but it does matter what you want out of your seat location. If you want to get the most out of the atmosphere, being down close to field is fun, you just don't get see much in terms of how a play is developing.
The seats Soulfish was talking about are amazing if you enjoy watching football, as you can see every bit of the action, player movement, play design etc. You can see a WR coming open on a deep route, feel the QB anticipation as he uncorks the ball, or see the hole open up backside for a RB to cutback and break off a long run, etc. I remember watching Earl Thomas become a heat seeking missile closing on an open WR over halfway across the field, seeing the QB throw the ball thinking the WR is open, but from my angle I absolutely knew ETIII was going to break up the pass. Or even better, watching Kam Chancellor beelining towards Vernon Davis and knowing Chancellor was about to snatch his soul from his body before the ball even left Kap's hand. IMO that's the best thing about being at the game.
But some people like to hear all the smack talk, be able to interact with players, the possibility of getting on TV, etc. That's just not my bag. Been there done that, it was fun once but you just miss so much of the game.
