No doubt. We heard the accuracy stuff with Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson coming out.

Milroe had a 65.8 completion percentage in 2023. He had a 64.3 completion percentage in 2024.

It's not like he's some 50 percent accurate passer.

Josh Allen in College in 2016 and 2017: 56.0 percent and 56.3 percent. It was a legit issue, he fixed it.
Lamar Jackson in College in 2015, 2016 and 2017: 54.7 percent, 56.2 percent and 59.1 percent.

Point being that Milroe was a flat out more accurate passer in college. Love hearing that he acknowledges what he needs to improve on, clearly he's a team guy and a leader. It's just, imo, a little blown out proportion that he's some inaccurate passer.

In a league with a lot of me me me going on, this kid seems to truly want to be great. And he knows he has work to do.

Absolutely! They were talking about his accuracy being a problem in college. Meanwhile, there are absolute superstars in the NFL now that had the same issues if not worse. I think the stigma of him being an inaccurate passer does stem partly because some of his inaccurate throws were way way off. Again, if he can get this under control, then he has a real shot at super stardom. Time will only tell, but as I’ve said multiple times over the last few weeks, the risk reward at picking him 92nd in the draft was absolutely worth it.

All he needs to do for the next 2-3 years is sit, watch, and practice. If he commits to the craft of the QB position, he could be really good. The intangibles are all there when it comes to the body, time to sharpen the mind. Iron forged into steel.
