This guy shouldn’t have even been on our radar for another week. We always need depth type players but right now we need to focus on improving the guys out there every week. This isn’t it.

It’s only a problem if signing Jones stops us from making other oline additions right?

We need like 4-5 dudes. This guy being one of the 5 is ok until further notice

the tampering period is generally used to put out offers to guys that will be signed quickly not depth guys. I don’t see this guy going anywhere else Wednesday so our time could be used elsewhere for now

I get your concern in context

But in isolation, this signing is fine

We’ll have plenty of time later to justifiably complain if this is it

Reddit is chirping that Will Fries is basically a done deal pending a physical and medicals.

This is a positive move but of course I don’t exactly consider Reddit a reputable source so I won’t hold my breath. The fact that I had a lot of football news on today and don’t recall hearing his name did surprise me. I figured he’d be linked somewhere by now. Still another day and a half before anything becomes official so plenty of time to make a splash or two on the line.

I mean yeah take it with a grain of salt, the source in question is some chick they call LasVegasMilf supposedly she had the scoop or divine sighton both MacDonald and Grubb coming to the Seahawks or something like that. But like Falco said, can’t do physical stuff until Wednesday.

But I like the Seahawks chances as everyone else seems to keep handing out big time bags especially the Vikings who was the first team I saw linked to Fries in the early fray. The fact that the Seahawks pretty much went dark mode after Darnold is a good sign, they aren’t spending money and no one is reporting anything substantial on Fries free agency, tells me that it might be more than a coincidence. Remember JS is a Ducks in a row type of GM, he hardly makes other moves until his priorities are checked off.

In a lofty place tanglin' with Satan over history.

Las Vegas milfs are some of the most "in the know" women in the galaxy. Or so I've heard.

Let’s see what the real contract numbers are for him however, if they are anything more than $2 million per year, it’s a big overpay because he hasn’t been good since 2022.

Will wait to see the real numbers later. How many times have we seen a contract reported and it's not close to the real numbers? Pretty common really.

As a fan, I am over JS now as the GM of Hawks. I understand why some folks still have hope on drafts and transactions. I am not mad at this season and the roster churn. I am mad over the continuous decay of talent and available cap space. We lost our edge on scouting, rest of the league has equally figured out diamonds on the rough, we seem always struggling for cap space and we come on TV and say this is the best thing that ever happened. A GM needs to be held accountable for the team he puts together every year and making sure the coaches have what they want. This is purely my opinion, the Green Bay charm, the well connected and well influential can only do so much. We have a young coach, I wish we had an able GM to compete.
