Baseball is a kids game
I am a huge Rowdy fan. He keeps it real.
I got some great baseball stories about kids like taking my son to spring training or helping my friends 7 yr old daughter get a ball from a rangers pitcher, one time I was standing near the dugout and a little boy in a wheel chair with burns all over his body was trying to get some attention. He was yelling to the sports reporter (from KIRO) the guy wouldn’t turn around but then David Aardsma came walking by and the kid started yelling “ hey Mr. Baseball player!” I leaned over and said “ kid, his names David Aardsma” and the little boy yelled out “HEY DAVID AARDSMA!!” That’s all it took and David spun around and saw the little boy. He walked right up and signed a baseball and gave it to the kid. I got tears in my eyes just telling the story.
