That's the thing about legacy. If it is pursued selfishly with only yourself in mind this is how it crashes and burns. If it's pursued with others in mind - how it affects others and what it ends up leaving behind to help or honor them - then you will likely end up with a legacy that makes a difference.

Love him or hate him, Russ gets the last laugh. Even if he is required to clean the toilets, he does so with many more millions than we humble worker bees can ever even dream about.

That only works if it's only about the money for Russ. It helps. But I'm not sure it is for him. To have his career end like this without the positive vibe and all the accolades he wants - this mentally and emotionally is likely worst-case "legacy hell" for him.

Difference between Alex and Russell, Alex had talent beyond the Mariners and kept putting up numbers, his being a genuine douch about going to the Texans after saying is wasn't about the money is what pissed everyone off. Wilson was never as good as he thought he was and needed a full supporting cast to allow him to Hero Ball it, trying to get Pete and John fired, telling the fan base how much he cared for all of us and the area was syrupy BS. Coming to town with the Broncos and that ugly suit and accolades like he was walking on water was over the top, so glad we won that game.

After having to hear how shitty the Seahawks were going to be and how great the broncos were going to be it was a soothing balm to watch ME3 and the donk lose that game and then go on to be the joke of the league all season and have it continue into the next season - in which ME3 and the donk had SEVENTY POINTS dropped on them in one game - that was simply sublime.

There isn’t logic necessary here. This is a merry go round of shit and it certainly appears the giants got the worst of it. Vegas and the general public agree.

I’ll add that I don’t appreciate the smartest men on earth, the Four Horsemen of Incompetence telling me the same fu(king offense for the last two years with Russell Fu(king Wilson at the helm is gonna be any Fu(king better than it has been.

That seems to be the vibe - that place will really melt down if they draft Sanders for QB with that 3rd pick. Most seem to think signing two QB's means they aren't going to draft a QB. I am not so sure - can the giants FO really afford to pass up a QB?
