The Hawks don't need to rebuild; they just need to reallocate their resources.
In an extremely pass-heavy offense Lockett still couldn't earn his contract, and DK certainly didn't play well enough to be demanding a raise. The Hawks should have no problem getting a 2nd WR if we trade Metcalf, either using $$ or a draft pick. With the Hawks looking to run more it means that our QB/WR heavy cap hits no longer make sense, and we need that money for other areas.
Schneider has to know that another terrible OL performance could cost him his job, so expect a major move and a semi-major move, such as FA upgrade and an early round pick for OL.

The Hawks are not a lowly rebuilding team even if we trade DK. We have too much talent to blow it up, and now our salary cap situation is much better, especially if our eventual 2025 starting QB gets paid less than Geno. We didn't have the right guys to be a real playoff team, so they're shaking up the roster

Let your core players on defense walk last year, trade your QB and release your most productive receiver and proceed to look for a trade for your other veteran productive receiver, have to acquire more O lineman, need to rebuild your D line since most are F.A. and are not resigned yet, your LB core is wide open and you are hoping to resign your MLB . Release your former OC and hire a new one.

Nope not a rebuild at all, it was a demolition, and we are reinventing everything.

I'd say it's more like a retooling rather than a minor rebuild, but some could consider that nitpicky.

When you lose your starting QB, the best athlete on the team says he is walking and have whole sale changes at coaching...its going to feel like a rebuild.

I have faith in MM that by the end of the off season it will be more of a Re-load, than a rebuild.

Does the most muscles make you the best athlete? Don’t get me wrong DK is a beast but best athlete?
