Not addressing the OLine is a firable offense. If JS sits and waits like it's the day after Black Friday just to sign a few wash outs at G and bank on Haynes or the draft than he really is arrogant idiot.
He absolutely needs to hit bullseyes with 1 or 2 OL upgrades in the positions of weakness. But they aren't going to redo the entire OL like the Bears did.

I agree, and I'm not entirely against giving Haynes another chance. However, they need to take the Oline seriously and signing Fries would be a huge step in the right direction. You've got Lucas and Cross, I think you're solid there. Getting Fries to shore of your LG position, maybe signing a second tier C in FA and having Haynes compete for RG and a draft pick is perfectly acceptable.

I do think they sign a guard. Plus we have the draft as well. I'm sure they will address it.
From the way they have talked though I think the Kubiak signing was very intentional to make the guys they have work well including Haynes.
They were never going to go out and sign every lineman out there.

Panthers signing DT Milton Williams from the Eagles, one of the higher ranked free agents.

Playing next to Dalman would have made Haynes better. It would've been a two for one deal -- that's what pisses me off about not getting him.

Yeah, would have absolutely loved signing Dalman. Perhaps he wasn't interested in playing here. Who knows.

Bears fixed the whole OLine in 1 week after the third addition, haha
Maybe. Just because you get a bunch of big names doesn’t mean squat. Dump money into an oline but what of their defense?

I’m perfectly content not dropping large sums of coin on FA - draft and develop - let ‘em walk when they want too much - collect compensatory picks and repeat

It didnt work the last 5-10 years. Our last years FA was garbage and now we will do the same.
5M for a C Guard
6M for a D Center
After 10 Games they will be released

The place I saw the Russ news deleted it. Somebody might have jumped the gun on that. Maybe there was a late snag.

Lol, it's not like the FO hasn't been doing anything. Been incredibly busy lately.

Maybe Ciara wasn't guaranteed a residency at Madison Square Garden when they realized there would be 15,000 empty seats every night.
