You need to read a few posts going back a while..many thought he could replace DK. Now they get their wish.

Cmon. You know they weren't being serious

Yeah there was some enthusiasm for him coming out of camp two years ago, but we've all seen the guy play for real since then. Any comments over the last year are just lighthearted and fun, not real

Yeah he’s a big body who commands attention. A physical freak. Buuut he has his limitations. I loved the thought of him turning into a poor man Calvin Johnson but it never really materialized aside from a couple games where he was an animal out there. Doesn’t contest catches much and would rather body catch than use his big mitts. Drove me nuts. Also, he’s not worth the coin he was looking for. He ain’t worth JJ or Jamar Chase money cause he ain’t as good as them. He presence will definitely be missed as he commanded a ton of double team coverage which allowed for our smaller receivers to thrive but plenty of other clubs utilize their undersized receiving core to their full advantage with proper play call. DK would never live up to his full potential here in Seattle.

Gosh, if only there were criticisms of his route running before we drafted him....

We weren’t paying 30 mill next year so why eat more for one year to only have him leave the next year with nothing in return.

If he stayed one more year and left the free agency, the Seahawks were received a third round compensatory pick which is not far off from what they got today for him. Plus his contract was $18 million for this year. I would’ve kept him one more year

DK shoulda been like Larry Fitzgerald for us. Larry went through some bad teams in Arizona and still played hard every play. He dominated the middle of the field. I’ll never forget watching him snatch the ball down and all his hair. I always believed DK could take the team on his back like Larry did but I don’t know if DK has the right attitude to do it. I wanted him to and I still think he could, sucks if he gets it somewhere else.
