Knowing that we are suddenly desperate, Darnold's team UPPED their price. Now this spin that we are talking to Rodgers, ie a message to Darnold that we have alternatives.

I could actually see this one happening more than Darnold. Bring Rodgers in for a year or 2, draft a young QB understudy, then have him take over when Rodgers retires. Now what that young QB will learn as an understudy and whether I agree with the acquisition of Rodgers, is an entirely different question.

Why even waste time? He's a washed up egotistical diva. The Jets didn't even want him back. If this is true, JS is a fool to even entertain this.

Aaron read your message, now he wants $50mil to join the Hawks. Think about it, no OL protection means more chance his old azz on the turf with 300lb DT on him; small chance of glory, MVP, all-pro, probowl, umm with that OL?

I'm 50/50 about Rodgers mentoring a new QB for us. Yeah, he could probably teach him some great things but also rub off on him being an attention whore and a "it's everyone's fault but my own" complex.

Absolutely. It all depends on the character and mental fortitude of whoever they decide to draft/bring in.

Look at the bright side. If Seattle does in fact bring in Rodgers, there is absolutely no way he is going to play and survive with our current oline. The front office would absolutely have to invest in solidifying it.

I seem to recall an interview a few years ago where AR pretty much said, 'I don't do that. It's the coaches job." or some such.

No fan of bringing this guy in. 🤮
