Need a good defensive line and a running game, which requires a good OL.

It already happened today. Hurts is barely better than Geno. The team would be the same or even worse if they had Jalen Hurts. And Jalen Hurts doesn't have an IT factor. Yes, that happened.

Strange take, but to each his/her own.

Not really stupid. Just the lengths some will go to make Geno something that he's not and never has been.
Geno isn't in same stratosphere as Jalen Hurts. It's not even close. Keep your stats, I'll keep big wins that an actual IT factor every time.

Yes to each his own, it's all speculation no matter how condescending you want to be towards anyone who doesn't share your opinion

I'm not being condescending at all. And it goes right back at me. I couldn't care less if someone has a different opinion. I like it. It's fun to debate football on here. It's not some huge tragedy. It's just talking football. If you can't see sarcasm, you likely never will.

Daniels has an IT factor, I don't see Hurts carrying any team. Put Hurts on the Commanders and they aren't making the playoffs, definitely not beating Detroit
Well, you have a right to your OPINION. It's nothing more than that, an opinion. Dude has been in the SB 2 of the last 3 years, he has a LOT of the IT factor. We can agree to massively disagree. And I'm more than fine with that. I know what my eyes tell me. Geno just doesn't have the IT factor. Once he knocks off some actual VERY good teams and actually WINS PLAYOFF GAMES, then maybe I'll believe it. And when he becomes more than a turnover machine in the Red Zone, I'll believe it.
I'm not required to believe in Geno, just like you're not required to give a crap about my opinion. Geno is our QB no matter what I think of him, so I want him to succeed, big time. He was phenomenal in the SB against the 2-time defending champs. He has a ton of IT factor to his game, period. Also, Washington wouldn't make the playoffs with Hurts? Um............ok.
Kurt Warner was just on 710 talking about how Hurts was the best player on the field 2 years ago when they lost by 3 to KC. He also talked about how clutch Hurts is, and his incredible throws. When he's asked to make the big play when it's needed, he gets it done. THAT is an IT factor. Listening to Kurt talk about how clutch he is says it all.

It's crazy to me that there are people on here who think Hurts is some JAG being carried to success. I was pulling for the Eagles on Sunday in a "screw the Chiefs" kind of way, but I've never rooted for Hurts. I hate Alabama so much that I was rooting for Michigan in their bowl game, I don't like Oklahoma either, and the Eagles are one of my least-favorite team's in the league. I still cannot deny that Hurts is damn good.

He had one dumb decision gambling on that deep ball that got picked, but aside from that, he was phenomenal. He showed incredible poise in the pocket, was throwing absolute dimes, knew when to run and was effective doing it. He steps up consistently when his team needs him.

He played 19 games this season and was responsible for 42 TDs and just 11 turnovers (six INTs, five fumbles). Some call him a system QB, but he has had a different OC nearly every season.

Some people are so desperate to prop up Geno that they have to pretend that a guy like Hurts isn't actually good, so they can be like "See? Any QB can win a championship with better pieces!".

Hurts is very, very good. It sucks, and he should be ours (damn you Russ and your no-trade clause), but it's true.

It's funny if someone says Hurts isn't elite or doesn't have the IT factor it's taken as he's not good or a JAG.

I see him as a good QB surrounded by elite talent and great coaches. I don't see him carrying a team like an elite QB with an IT factor would.

Has nothing to do with propping up Geno, not sure where that comes from. Seems like some people hate Geno so much they have to knock on anyone who doesn't think he's trash and project some petty reasoning on them

Meh, all a matter of opinion. Call it what you want. This team should be so lucky to have a talent like Hurts. Instead, we are stuck with Geno.

You just pulled that out of thin air. No one claims Geno is elite, I've seen a lot of posts saying he sucks and get rid of him, which is pretty much just hate and petty reasoning.

I said Hurts isn't elite and you translated that to calling him a JAG being carried to success.

Goes both ways. Some believe in geNO and some don't. Welcome to QB in the NFL. Hurts is busy winning the Super Bowl, making it twice in three years (And playing his a** off both playoff runs) and sizing his championship ring. Geno has NEVER been that guy and never will be.
Some are satisfied with average, some want more.
