...no matter how unlikely...Where they win the division with a win next week and the strength of schedule tiebreakers all falling the Seahawk's way?
Thanks. Well then - if it somehow happens at least I'll know it's destiny. There is a way but it's almost impossible, probably like 1%?
Thank you for that opinion.
Watching Kyler Murray throw away our season on that overthrown ball instead of just handing the ball off up the middle felt about as bad as any football moment I've ever experienced. Is there anything more pathetic as a fan than having to hope for outcomes beyond the control of your team to slither into the playoffs?
So you're saying there's not a chance when there really is a chance. I can see why you'd want to post a Dumb and Dumber meme with that. The season is over. I don't even have the energy to post the Jim Carrey Dumb and Dumber meme.
Oh, they should have absolutely taken the points, but coaches make decisions differently when post-season chances are gone. I knew they were going to go for it and knew that it would be one of the handful of times the Rams defense would actually get a stop on a running play.I know this was much earlier in the game but when they had fourth and one from like the 15 yard line, I was saying they should’ve just taken the points. They went for it and didn’t get it on fourth down though. Coaches today just take way too many chances.
Best thing is to sit a lot of starters against the Rams, and lose the game. Why make the playoffs, we need the edge of the better draft position. IF you want a good Seahawk team, it starts with a great draft, and that means closest to number 1 you can get....no matter how unlikely...Where they win the division with a win next week and the strength of schedule tiebreakers all falling the Seahawk's way?
Yup. It's more pathetic to be a fan who has no hope and whose fandom is defined by negativity. Is there anything more pathetic as a fan than having to hope for outcomes beyond the control of your team to slither into the playoffs?
I'll let the more practical fans root that way. I just can't.Best thing is to sit a lot of starters against the Rams, and lose the game. You're right, but be prepared to be blasted by delusional fans who think we'll lose the chance of having a "winning culture" if we don't go balls to the wall to win a week 18 game against the Rams backups. They also think that it's necessary for "momentum" for games that won't be played for another eight months.Best thing is to sit a lot of starters against the Rams, and lose the game. I personally wouldn't point to winning culture and momentum as reasons for carrying at all about winning in week 18.You're right, but be prepared to be blasted by delusional fans who think we'll lose the chance of having a "winning culture" if we don't go balls to the wall to win a week 18 game against the Rams backups.
