Spoon is just on a whole different level.
And then, there's this.
And then, there's this.

Naahh...not Geno...must have been the play call. That geno throw has to come out the moment lockett breaks from the defender. Instead he waits to throw until Lockett is almost standing still. Just ******* brutal.
Or Lockett ran a lazy, wrong route.Naahh...not Geno...must have been the play call.
Many great corners suffer on the stat sheet because they play so well QBs throw away from them. Woolen is one of them. He plays his man well, and then goes to wherever the ball is thrown to assist in the tackle. And that's not even talking about his run support and blitz ability. In the thread earlier about grading the picks in the Wilson trade I really couldn't understand some of the negative comments on Spoon in there. Like they said on the broadcast, he hasn't lit up the stat sheet with picks and sacks but watching him play, I don't see an issue
Woolen???? Some early day drinking going on?Many great corners suffer on the stat sheet because they play so well QBs throw away from them. Woolen is one of them. I blame fantasy football.![]()
2d brain fart today.Woolen???? Some early day drinking going on?
He plays “football player.”Spoon is one of the best picks Seattle has made in over a decade, for my money. A true hybrid. Watching him for the uninitiated must feel like "Is he a Safety? Corner? Linebacker? What position DOES he play?"
Really real!He plays “football player.”
He’s a generational talent that I hope we’re blessed to watch in a Seahawks uniform for his entire career.
Not hyperbole, but I believe he’ll end up in the same vein as Walter Jones, Kam Chancellor or Steve Largent at his “position.”
