With the Rams barely working out a W tonight I expect things will turn down for a few games. Kind of disappointed in the Digits but they truly suck this year. We all need to keep the faith. In the end I have faith things will work out if the team can at last beat the Rams in their house. At present they believe they can do it. Suspect they will run out of gas. A split with GB or Minnie fixes everything if our boys can just beat the damn Rams.

Sadly I expect the next few games will see the Rams exult in the lead of the NFC-W. I believe my guys will catch up but it will depend upon the team believing they can get it done. Around here the negativity will become palpable if the Rams take the NFC-W lead over the next few weeks. This is the time of the season where we fans have to be fans and believe. Besides the whole league knows this team now has a good young HC and a D that improves game upon game.

We just need to keep the faith they will bear the Rams. I believe this will finally happen.

I won't be too unhappy if we're playing for the division title on Jan 5th. I'd prefer to secure it before then, of course, but playing for the prize does have a certain drama and appeal.

Nooooooooooooo, I want the 1/5 game to be absolutely meaningless for us. I want to sit back, enjoy my beverage without having to check my blood pressure every 10 minutes. I want to know we already clinched, and this is little more than going through the motions, teasing them to their disgust. I want McVay and company pouting, knowing they are already out of it and there's nothing they can do to spoil our chances.

I am still steaming mad they spoiled my trip down there last year when I took my daughter to the game for her 18th birthday, only to see the kicker miss the field goal in the end.

No, I have zero desire to make this final game of the year for the division. F them. Make this meaningless for them so I can relish all game long in their misery, win or lose.

It's so obvious they are trying to get the final week of the season to be winner takes division. It's the NFL. Plus with a team from LA? Cmon sooo obvious. NFL already gave them a super bowl few years ago against Cincy, they are trying desperately to make the NFL work in LA (most people in LA are all about Lakers and Dodgers...and Kings and UCLA). Nobody cares about the Rams in LA that's why they already lost the team once before. Awful uniforms, awful stadium, soulless fans, etc. LA is not an NFL city. Same with Vegas. Soulless. People in LA want to go to wide open Dodger stadium in the summer and look at hot babes and home runs, not sit inside an air conditioned billion dollar piece of metal that has no home field advantage watching an NFL game. The fact LA has 2 NFL teams is a JOKE it's part of the reason I have lost some interest in the NFL.

I dunno, Rams went toe to toe with Buffalo and actually beat them. Seahawks couldn’t hold a candle when they played Buffalo. I think Rams have their mojo since then.

I believe Mike can stop McVay and Shanahan. If Geno plays disciplined football and we play the field position battle we can win any given Sunday, Thursday, Monday and maybe a Saturday too🤐

It's going to be interesting these next few weeks, that's for sure. What a great way to end the season, being in the thick of things and watching our team grow and get better and giving us hope. Barring a complete regression / collapse, they've exceeded my expectations this seasons. Definitely a tough road ahead to keep it though.

I think this was a factor in him getting the job. Beating McVey and Shanahan offenses was a nice resume boost. The Rams are definitely beatable.

McVay hands-down is the best coach in the NFL and it’s not even close. No matter the players he has, they are always competitive. Every team has bad losses, but the loss to the Giants was downright terrible. This is a 2 to 3 year re-tool so anything that happens this year is gravy in my opinion.

We got some hope.

As AROS mentioned in another post - we're trending up. Oline has promise. D has some swagger back.

It's all not ******. If we play for the division in wk18 and lose? So be it.

We turned a corner after the 1/2 way mark of the season. Even though I'm generally a Debbie Downer - even I have to agree with that. And I'll say it for the first time. If not this season, next year. MM and company have impressed me in the last couple weeks.

We got some hope. Quite a bit actually.

And honestly, **** the rest of the NFCW. Stick to our knitting and let's kill the Pack and the Vikes. Then week 18 won't matter.

Rams most likely win their next 2 games agaisnt the Jets and the Cardinals. That means we have to win at least 2 of the next 3 or week 17 is irrelevant.

I didn’t start this thread as a downer. I just have this feeling this conversation needed to be had as the Rams have momentum and the media slobbering over them. For them the trend is their friend and the Hawks are ignored .

A huge final game that could undoubtedly be flexed appears likely or has been set up. Of course a W this week for our boys would take some of the steam out of that construct. I’d rather just win out but our guys have a tougher schedule and the Rams is Charmin soft with the 9ers having their wheels fall off. Thanks for nothing Digits.

For me without a doubt like Aros I’d rather that last game be meaningless but it sure doesn’t look that way. At least at present. Regardless sooner rather than later I want my guys to knock the snot out of the Rams who I despise more than the 9ers who are a team that has pretended to be great, as a bridesmaid since 1995.

Our guys have two really tough home games with very good teams with better records than ours they need our loud, unqualified, and believing support. They need to know we have their backs And believe and expect they will get it done.

After seeing the way the Rams have in the past gotten ridiculous favourable calls I wouldn’t be surprised. After all it wouldn’t be the first time the Hawks have been jobbed by the ‘fix’ being in (never forget XL).

All I care about in the end I just want to see unqualified support here for my boys.
