According to this attached graphic a won this week gives us a 76% chance of making the playoffs while a loss leaves us with a 25% chance.

I can’t speak to its accuracy but it portrays how I’m feeling about this upcoming week.

Every win we stack up increases our odds but we definitely can’t afford to let up know.

Yeah, we are in a good place right now, but we don't have a lot of wiggle room to take any games lightly.

Gotta' split these next 2, imo. This team is hot, but I certainly don't expect them to beat GB and Minnesota.

It's huge every game from here on out is a must win, If the 49ers can beat the Rams on Thursday night this Packers game might not be as huge, but it's still an important game regardless..

Too close of a race in our division. The slightest misstep could result in not entering the post season. In my opinion... every game is VERY important.

I’m incredibly suspicious about the precipitous drop in percentages with one loss

We could lose and still lead the division. With three games left. And only have a 25% chance?

Hmmmm…..

If we lose and the Rams win we will no longer be in first place as we currently lose the head to head tiebreaker with the rams.

The odds would take into account that the Rams win the games they are favored in which as long as they keep winning, should’ve the next three weeks

Sure but the drop would still be way to steep

It’d be a virtual tie considering we still play them. I’d be ok with 50%. But 25? 😂

Feels like bias is involved (although I’m sure it’s not haha)

I think it comes down to the rams game for the NFC West.

I don't mind that because as good as they looked offensively VS the Bills ........... the bills D is not very good. And the Rams D looked vulnerable as well. I think this most recent version of the Hawk D is better than either the Bills D or the Rams D. If we can keep from making the ridiculous errors we saw in the Jets game - AND we get GOOD Geno - the Hawks will win the NFC West.

The pundits have long had the Packers penciled in as a wildcard team but ponder this:

If Seattle beats Green Bay, then they get the head-to-head tie breaker with the Packers. This means that the Rams could win the West and Seattle could realistically take Green Bay's place as the final Wild Card team, excluding the Packers from post season altogether. That....is how important this game is. Not a single pundit in the country has given this line of thinking relevance. Every last one of them has the Packers portrayed as an automatic qualifier.

This is EXACTLY what would happen if both Seattle and LA win out until their week 18 meeting. Then that final game would be for hosting a playoff game with Seattle having already clinched a playoff berth and LA already clinching a berth if the Vikings defeat the Packers in week 17. Another scenario, if Seattle and LA win out until they meet, would be Seattle having already clinched at least a Wild Card and the Rams needing to beat Seattle and win the West to get into the playoffs (If Packers beat Vikings in week 17).

This is another reason this win is so important to our chances of making the playoffs. It increases both our division hopes and wildcard chances. If we lose though it also knocks our chances for both down a few notches.

The most important game of the day for us is Rams vs 49ers. If the Rams win that game we will likely need to win 3 of our next 4 including the Rams game to win the West.

The Seahawks are on a four game winning streak with our next two games (GB & MINN) at home. We finish out the regular season on the road (Bears & Rams).
If the 49ers beat the Rams and the Hawks beat the Packers on Sunday night we will have the inside track for the division.

The Packers have beaten the
Rams 24-19
Cards 34-13
49ers 38-10
And the Texans 24-22.
Green Bay has lost to
Eagles 29-34
Vikings 29-31
Lions twice, 14-24 & 31-34.

Regardless of the Packers success vs the NFC west, their losses against the NFC elite coupled with the Seahawks recent renewed health & success make this a bellwether game for the Hawks.
Our defense and offensive line are coming together at the right time.

I think both the Packers and Vikings are huge.

And we're at home.

You want a 'headlock' on the division. Winning our next 2 would be ******* HUGE. We could take an oil tanker full of swagger into the playoffs.

I hope that the early game playcalling from Grubb is as good as yesterday.

Next two weeks are the shit - 'cause I think the Rams have the easier schedule.

Should be interesting to see if our newfound 'we're the greatest - and we're back!' holds - !

I want to see us create enough pressure to see the bad Jordan Love, who has been MIA for a month or so. He is prone to making the big mistake but we have to stop the run and collapse the pocket. (Obvious I know)
On offense I’m hopeful that this weeks breakout by Charbonnet and the line is sustainable and allows us to control the clock, avoid turnovers and allow us to play with a lead.
Best case scenario for me is to see us making them one dimensional.
I am currently not allowing myself to look forward past this game. The rest of the season will take care of itself.
Lastly, I could not concur more with the poster who said Golden Tate should raise the flag. However I’ll add that they should move the flag to the North end zone just for this game.

As a Bears fan, I always enjoy watching the Cheeseheads go down. Seahawks need this game to stay ahead of Rams. And it will be nice to win on my birthday!☺️
