I supported the Grubb hire but boy was I wrong..
Can we bring in Gruden for the remainder of season?
I don't need to point out what's wrong, we all see it in every game.

I know I’m alone but I really don’t think Grubb is the problem. Today they tried running under center, outside, inside, shotgun and when that didn’t work they tried getting the scream game going to help out. Not saying he’s perfect but I think this line really holds him back.

Can't sign Gruden. He just signed a contract with Barstool Sports.

I think the problem is more about not marrying the run looks with the pass game. They telegraph runs with personnel (more likely running with Bobo in) and Grubb never calls play action when he should. Seems like a lot of shotgun play action too.

Geno could also be deadly under center with designed rollouts and that would help the oline forcing the defense to think.

I'm not convinced Gruden would even be an improvement. In his last 3.5 year stint with the Raiders, his offense only ranked in the top half of the league in points once (10th, 2020), and I suspect that had something to do with the fact that his defense was giving up 29.9 points per game.

I don't care really what you think, I'm just offering a name
because the OC does you know "suck".
If you are ok with him, then just go back under the rock you
crawled out of.

I'm fine with him. Were still not even running the whole playbook. Next year with some O-line help we will be a top 10 offense. Oh, wait we already are.

I wasn't a fan of the Grubb hire at all. I told many people long before the season that the D will take time to get right. If we start seeing issues it's gonna be on Grubb and Smith. Smith's not it and Grubb is a pass happy OC with no creativity whatsoever. During our bye week I was certain Grubb was gone. I think the only reason Grubb is still here because there's no one to replace him.

A too 10 offense and in first place after week 12 with a quarterback leading the league in passing. He’d be unemployed for like 5 minutes if we fired him. The middle of our line is trash. We pick up a top center in free agency this offseason or steal one in the draft and you’ll be singing a different tune guaranteed

I'm pretty done with Grubb. Even giving Geno a chance to throw a pick from the 30 yard line when the defense was playing so well is inexcusable. Two passes had already been batted down and one was nearly picked. Grubb is more concerned with being cute than with winning football games.

Glad I'm not the only one who's feeling that right now.

Most Hawk fans like Grubb and by use of common sense realize how poor the middle of our O line is. Walker hasn’t been the same since week 1 against the Broncos tbh

Grubb's play-calling got a lot better as the game went on. First half was pretty bad, they were in deep-shot mode and the OL couldn't handle it.

I did notice the run game got better once Anthony Bradford came out.
