The Ravens vs. Steelers will be an interesting game this weekend. The Ravens have one of the worst pass defenses in the league, and the Steelers defense has a way of making things difficult for opposing teams, especially one of their chief rivals at home. Meanwhile, the Ravens have been about the most formidable team in the league on offense this year, with Lamar far out in front now for the MVP trophy.
I think Harris is potentially out as well? I expect Baltimore to win but rooting for Pittsburg

Lets use the bar many set here, if they make the playoffs or don't advance past first round he is a waste of roster space.

What many was using as the yardstick here. He is playing within the confines he has been asked to play, not be the guy to carry the team. Hey kind of sounds like the Seahawks early on with Lynch and our Defense. Lets see if he can continue to do that. If he wants to continue playing next year he needs to check the ego and put his head down and do whatever is asked. If he starts spouting weird shit and projecting things again I think he is done after this year as a starter.

It's so frustrating. We could've skipped his entire downfall if he would've just embraced the type of player he truly is rather than going scorched earth to try to prove to the world that he was Peyton Manning.

He did so much damage to the reputations of those who were putting him in a position to succeed.

We could've done more great things together. I'm glad he seems to realize most of the truth now. Pete and John deserve a whole lot of private apologies from him.

Meh he’s thrown multiple big throws in crucial moments already in 3 games. He's absolutely had to do some things to win this year.

I do wonder how good the Steelers actually are and it will be interesting to see how they do against Baltimore, Cincinnati etc. I’m not convinced they’re a good team either but it’s kind of fun watching Russ and Tomlin doing well as I like both.
Russ has been throwing some good moon balls and I even caught a couple of quick slant passes that were impressive for him. But to be fair - many of those big throws have been completed because of even bigger catches in my opinion. Pickens and others have been working overtime with some serious circus catches to help Russ look good.

No doubt, Pickens is a quality receiver.. however,
I guarantee, "no touch" Justin Fields would have thrown line drives in these situations and none of them would have been caught, period.

It's fair but he's been doing that his whole career. He might have the best deep ball ever. Hasselbeck talked about how incredible Russ is at it. Every QB gets some great catches from their recievers, its their job.

Come playoff time, I'll definitely root for him if he gets the Chiefs, but the Steelers are still the Steelers. Going to favor a never-won-it team like the Bills overall for the AFC.

In a lofty place tanglin' with Satan over history.

This right here. All of the passes were damn near to the inch mark of where they needed to be for there to even be a chance of the receiver being the only one with a chance to even touch it. Kudos to them for doing their multimillion dollar job as well.

No doubt. While I hope he kills it, come playoff time, Steelers are down that totem pole for sure. Bills or Ravens I would much rather see make the Owl.

The Ravens are my team that I irrationally hate and can't explain why. I don't think it's because they have a Harbaugh coaching either, because I keep forgetting that when I'm watching. I'd almost definitely root for the Steelers against them in the playoffs.

That's interesting. I'm the opposite. Out of the successful teams since the millennium, I've probably liked them the most. Winning it all with Dilfer and Flacco was impressive and Ozzie Newsome climbing the ranks from player to coach to the upper echelon of personnel decisions is a cool story.

I respect them. They're one of my go-to arguments when people try calling the draft a "crapshoot". Always seem to find myself rooting against them though.

Wilson in the 4th quarter has a perfect passer rating 158.3 this season.

3TD - O Int
Almost 80% completion
216 yrds
15.4 yards average
1 comeback win
Imagine he did that only throwing bombs that his receiver bailed him out on (sarcasm).

That’s what makes the Russ debate so frustrating. There’s always a reason for his success and it’s never him. Weird to me.

My hope would be Bills/Lions. Right off, you know you finally get to see a team win their first SB. And teams that deserve their shot.

But I still think it's gonna' be Chiefs/Lions.
That moment when it's 5:30 am, and you realize you're in the wrong thread. Oh well. Rock on
