Thank you. And again, it wasn't my suggestion. It came up on my youtube recommendations. I'm not a big fan of Brendon Nelson, but the title was something about what should the Hawks do before the trade deadline so I checked it out and was just curious about what others thought.
Brendon is alright he's good with the numbers and stuff, but a bit boring with his presentation..

Totally get it.

I’ve heard folks suggest trading DK and I’ve been like “ohhhh no. One of my favorite players “.

But if Geno doesn’t have time to throw or for a play to develop…

I’m a firm believer that if your lines are gtg, everything else will fall in-place.

So Trade Lockett to KC, trade DK to highest bidder, trade Walker, Trade Geno, Trade Williams, Trade JSN because he is not used correctly either, Trade Riq because he is not as good as his rookie year,.

Did I miss anyone, so thats maybe three 5ths a 3rd, and 3 6th rounders, desperation trading rarely pays off.
Hey Chris. Not JSN 😂. Rookie contract and all.

I agree that desperation trading isn’t necessarily the answer but, if we believe MM can elevate this team, he’s going to need the draft capital to do so.

Now…I can rip this next statement to shreds but, it’s not entirely wrong…

If the team is nowhere near being competitive (let’s say playoff bound), exactly what good does having K9 average 3.3 yards do?

If we’re 1-2 players “off”, I get it. But we’re not…

Possibly right Morg..and definitely frustration coming through.

I love DK and K9. I’ve come to what I believe to be the realization that they may be ‘wasting’ away in Seattle.

As the draft is a crapshoot, I don’t see how they rectify this roster without having a ton of capital in-hand (which we do not).

Maybe sacrifices need to be made to give MM the resources he needs.

No easy answer here.
Totally hear you on that.

Look at the mighty Felix Hernandez. I don't think Seahawks will go that same route as those bastards across the street. Seahawks want to build a winner. It might just take a couple of years

We’re not 1-3 players away from competing. Nowhere close to that.

Oh yah…dump Grubb. We’ve seen enough.
This.

Grubb has worn out his welcome with me. We're not in college dude. Put down the beer bong and run an NFL offence please.

Like I've said in another post recently - Jesus - Waldron ain't looking SO BAD right now. Grubb is just useless. IMO.

Brendon Nelson suggested this in a recent video. I love K9, but the guy is being totally wasted in Seattle. And are we really going to extend him when we don't have 4/5 of our line settled? Might as well have a no name back running behind this atrocious line and get something for K9 while we can.
There's so much of a rotating wheel of shit of blame going around, who knows whether K9's problems are K9's or the line?

There seems to be so many threads/posts of 'oh, if only this aspect of the team was firing, then we'd all be winning'

The line sucks, yea, I get it, but through a combination of creative playcalling and adjusting to what the ******* defense is giving you, you can at least maximize your strengths. For example, yesterday running Charbs on a 3rd and short-ish was an idiotic idea. I said that the second the ball was handed to him.

I digress - but the wheel of blame keeps spinning. MM is the leader. Lead, follow or get out of the ******* way dude.

as others said running backs trade value isn’t much. That being said it also shows that your o line is more important than your RB or WRs
