As physical as that guy plays, and how physical the opponents play him, it's amazing he's only missed ONE game his entire NFL Career.
DK might be a lot of things, but he's def. one tough SOB.

Then again, we have Bills, Clams then the Bye week. IF they held him out until after the bye week, that wouldn't be a horrible worst case at this point.

His 2023 drop rate was 8.3%, good for fifth best among receivers with over 98 targets on the year. https://www.si.com/nfl/seahawks/news/seattle-seahawks-dk-metcalf-tyler-lockett-receivers-report-card

That was up from the ~5% rates of the prior two years.

Currently, he has 3 drops on 46 catchable balls for a 6.5% drop rate (4th in NFL) according to this site. https://www.playerprofiler.com/nfl/dk-metcalf/

If anyone has a PFF subscription, you can check his drop number here.
Better than I expected really.

It’s possible he plays? Probably makes sense to wait until after the bye but curious to see how this plays out

Pretty sure that 8.3% drop rate for last year & the 6.5% for this year are 5th worst & 4th worst.
It does not say:
good for fifth best among receivers with over 98 targets on the year
but rather says: "Metcalf continues to struggle with drops, as his 8.3 percent drop rate ranked fifth out of 44 qualified receivers with at least 98 targets"
It then goes on to say:
"He also ranked near the bottom of the league in efficiency on contested catches" implying he ranked near the bottom in both categories.

I guess it's possible, but Mac saying "week to week" makes me think he's leaning towards not this week.

If this was the playoffs, or later in the season, I suspect they'd just tape him up and put him out there. Still early in the season though, so probably be more cautious.

In the grand scheme of things, it's a low priority game against an AFC opponent, so it's low on the tiebreaker scale. I know people are saying "statement game" and all that, but rationally, it's not, other than we want to stop losing at home.

Fully agree. After sitting on it I think it’s u likely he plays and for good reason. Better to get 100% for the rest of the year

Usually with most injuries unless its is a broken bone or severely torn muscle the pain is not maximized for a few days. We shall see what Wednesday looks like. Hopefully its not bad, the ahole in me says maybe he can review the playbook for a few days...ahhh God I said it

Was Geno's reaction at Bobo or at himself, cause I thought that ball was a little behind Bobo. Yes catchable and he got 2 hands on it but could have been out in front of him so he didn't have to reach back.
And Bobo could have slowed down some... since he was so wide open.

A minor disconnect... but the pass should have been completed.
