I would think this puts him out till after the bye week worst case. Would be great if he was back for the Lams game. I can't imagine he'll be ready for Sunday though. Could have been worse!

We will get to see more JSN and Bobo, During DK's absence, I wonder if our OC will make Lockett our WR1, or JSN? Will he make Bobo as that tall WR?

Hopefully Bobo doesn't keep dropping the ball. A sprain can take some time to heal for sure. Big loss right before a huge game. But, watching that replay, I'm honestly relieved it's not a lot worse.

Bobo dropped one ball; I think he catches well over 80% of his throws..
Granted he doesn't get many like he should.

I have only seen bobo drop that one pass yesterday. I can’t recall him dropping a lot. And geno sure threw a tantrum over that drop

Guys, it was a joke. Every time DK drops a pass, I hear that he's dropped 75.

Just trying to laugh a little during a crappy situation. My bad for not putting the /sarcasm thing.

Then again, it's DK, he'll somehow get a "injury prone" tag by the few that like to make stuff up about the guy. When he's been anything but injury prone. He's missed one game. One.

Just curious as to what his catch rate is and out of how many passes?
Can someone find this please?

Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back next week, even if only on a limited basis. Grade 1 MCL means it’s mostly just painful, with minimal instability. If he can play through the pain, he isn’t likely to do additional damage to it.

Tape it up. He could wear a brace. Sharp cuts and crisp routes aren’t a huge part of his game.

Was Geno's reaction at Bobo or at himself, cause I thought that ball was a little behind Bobo. Yes catchable and he got 2 hands on it but could have been out in front of him so he didn't have to reach back.

His 2023 drop rate was 8.3%, good for fifth best among receivers with over 98 targets on the year. https://www.si.com/nfl/seahawks/news/seattle-seahawks-dk-metcalf-tyler-lockett-receivers-report-card

That was up from the ~5% rates of the prior two years.

Currently, he has 3 drops on 46 catchable balls for a 6.5% drop rate (4th in NFL) according to this site. https://www.playerprofiler.com/nfl/dk-metcalf/

If anyone has a PFF subscription, you can check his drop number here.

I'm wondering if Geno expected him to direct his route slightly differently. Geno's reaction/expression was remarkably similar to when DK drifted his route last week and caused an interception.

In a lofty place tanglin' with Satan over history.

It was definitely towards Jake, from my vantage point (the screen). He looked like he gestured towards him (arms out) and said something to the effect of "come on! You gotta catch that!" (I agree).
