WHEN we win Sunday we come through this 11 day stretch with a 2-1 record and be at 4-1 for the season. I definitely prefer doing this early in the year. I don’t like having to play again on a Thursday though in December

Yes, if the Seahawks win Sunday, they're 4-1 for the season, but they are not guaranteed getting through the difficult eleven-day period at 2-1.
If the Seahawks win Sunday, then they're 1-1 in the seven-day stretch from Monday to Sunday. Then four days later, they still have to face the 49ers. In order to come out of the tough eleven-day stretch (from Monday, which was the 30th of September, through Thursday the 10th of October), the Seahawks have to win both of the games remaining in it.
- The Thursday night thing is somewhat laziness by the league. I am fully aware of how difficult scheduling an entire NFL season is, considering venue availability and such. However, although it wouldn't work the first four weeks, those Thursday games week 5 through end of Thursday schedule, should be played by teams coming OFF their bye. You lock those games in, then work around them. The "short week" problem is solved.

Admitting it's your nature to be a bitcher is an important part of being able to change...or don't, I don't actually care. Although I personally prefer less bitching, as you told me, "you fan your way, I'll fan mine. Go Hawks!Certainly a rough stretch.
If we can dodge the injury bug, it might actually not be a bad deal. Maybe the guys will just stay geared up instead of having to get that way.
Guess I’ll just choose to think positive about it.
My nature says bitch about the NFL hating the Hawks but that won’t change anything.
You are correct. I was ( and still am) half asleep posting. I was thinking the 11 days ends Sunday with the Giants in my record figuring.
.... but I personally put my body through the ringer last month doing Tough Mudder, and then quickly turning around for Spartan while having a plethora of other crazy things going on health, personal and professional all at the same time....
