Speaking of dropping passes, can we please get an actual ****ing receiving TE at some point? The best in our team's history is what, like 60% of prime Jimmy Graham? So jealous of all these teams that seem to find them from nowhere.
Fant can be that guy but there’s just no room to work him into rhythm right now. Exact same as why we couldn’t get JSN there last year.

One dropped pass and multiple games of non usage shouldn’t take away from the fact that he can be an absolute weapon if we needed a game plan involving extensive production from the TE position. So far it’s less talent IMO and more DNA. Our DNA is running, DK, and hits off play action/rollouts.

In a lofty place tanglin' with Satan over history.
I loved how quick he was getting the calls in to make adjustments. So used to getting lined up with 5 seconds on the play clock.
That shit legit threw me for a loop! On multiple downs I looked the clock thinking "did they start the clock late?". Nope. Just a well oiled machine, organized, ON SCHEDULE offensive coordinator and QB! You absolutely LOVE to see that shit!!!

What's weird is that I recall that being a strong suit of Grubb's back at UW, no?
They kind of had to to allow for all of the shifts and movement before the snap.

It was a bit maddening in Pete's tenure that they so often were late to the line. Remember, Holmie had the same problem back in the day.

Maybe, despite the complication of the plays, maybe the language of sending the plays out has been simpler than in previous regimes.

I think you quoted the wrong post of mine, but I feel you, tho. 😁

One of the best games of his career.

We still need to draft a QBOTF as soon as possible.
They should be extremely selective about future QBs though and they should see what they have in Sam before they go blowing draft picks on QBs like the Geno hater community screams about every draft.

Luckily, our coaches and FO aren't as naive as the "draft a QB now please" crowd is. The FO and coaching staff know how good Geno will be in this offense.

Geno is playing with even more determination this year which is hard to believe but it is true. Best way to describe Geno this year is relentless.
He put in some serious work this off-season. Looks like it's paying off.

Young Russell Wilson would like to have a word.
No one cares.
