I am glad we have a couple games to start the season against non-premiere QB's to get settled in. Don't want to piss in anyone's cherios but that was against Bo Nix in his first start. But I am optimistic, they looked good.

Tackling and swarming to the ball was night and day better no matter the QB.

Offense, wow what a rough start. Adjustments were made and hopefully those adjustments (get the run game going!) will carry over to the next games.

Defense: on the plus side: allowed 10 points (offense allowed two safeties and turned over the ball twice within field goal range, which the D did not allow to become TDs). Tackling was consistently excellent and that should be a theme even when we play better offenses. Not really a minus, but I'm tempering my enthusiasm a smidgin because they were up against a rookie QB playing his first game. They did exactly what they should have done.

2nd half was a great example of what the Grub offense will look like. Actual 2nd half adjustments. If they can get the O-line to play at a middling level this will be a dangerous team. LOVE all the pre snap movement. it works.

Defensive line looks legit, pocket was consistently uncomfortable against one of the better/highest paid olines in the league...
