Love you Oly no matter how much I aggravte you. Lol
Once I found out you were a soccer dad for a women's college soccer player, I appreciated where you were coming from a bit more. I mean, other parents frowned when I took off my shirt and did airplane swan-dive-slide celebrations into the grass behind the goal every time one of my daughters scored. Club AND college, they scored often, so then I TRIED to limit celebrations to walk-off golden goal scores in major tournaments. Still drew frowns when my younger daughter buried the shootout game-winner PK in the DC tournament final and I did the airplane swan-dive-slide celebration. Plus, the floor in the watch party room wasn't as slide-able as the grass fields. The rug burns eventually healed.

Anyway, darned if you weren't right about Carroll and the continually declining state of the team before I was ready to truly see it. Peak Carroll was indeed greatness at his peak, 11-5, 13-3, 12-4, but by the end declined to 7-10, 9-8, 9-8, even with "prop up Pete" short-term in-season trades, and, even worse, Carroll became a doormat for Shanahan and McVay, routinely outcoached. Then Jody Allen endorsed your position on Pete, sent him packing, but failed to publicly credit you as the inspiration for moving on from Pete.

I put in a call into Jody's team, left them a voicemail admonishing them to fix this injustice, and give you public credit. Jody responded that she was going to wait until after MMac's 10th win, as she didn't want to embarrass you if MMac stunk it up and they had to fire him before win #10.

So, in the meantime, I am occasionally amused by your takes, but pretty much never aggravated. It's just an Internet message board! So you keep doing YOU.

Won't it be fascinating to watch Russell this season for the Stealers? You can probably go watch him in person! I predict the Steelers will run the Russell Fields* offense, and be above .500 in games Russell starts.

* Russell Fields offense is identical to the Russell Wilson offense but includes more designed QB runs. The OC only calls those if Fields is in the game.

P.S. I hear the Swedish Bikini team bus route includes PA this summer. I'll PM the route to you as soon as I have it. By now, Fender's hands have to be breaking down, so just flag down the team bus and swap in for him as their oil boy for the bikini competitions.

I have a feeling Seattle's defense is going to improve quickly. It's going to be fun to watch.
That's my take, too. We'll be so much better against the run, so teams will HAVE TO pass more, and the team will be better at generating pass-rush pressure with MMac's less-predictable scheme. That's a recipe for INTs with the current DB group. The team may not threaten the '84 Seahawks record of 4 pick-six TDs in that game vs KC, but 3 pick-six TDs could be in play in at least a couple games.

How did this become another Russ thread? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Upon review, mods will (I hope) rule incidental contact, no foul on the play. ;-)
Russ did have that eye-opening 5-game win streak last year for the Donks under Payton's guidance.

As i've said before, I had no filter while watching her games her JR and SR year. She and the ex-wife weren't happy with me. Lol. It's just how it was.

Not sure fascinating will be the word for Russ and the Steelers this season. Steeler fans are all psyched up and think they have the Wilson of old. I try to warn them, but they'll not hear it. Lol. I tell them I predict Fields will replace him no later than week 6. To their defense though, they are just happy Pickett is gone and I can understand that.

Send that Swedish bikini route quietly. I perked up and my girlfriends suspicious now. Lol

Last I read, Nix is currently # unknown on the Donkeys depth chart.

No way they blow us out regardless of who is their QB.

Edit: Sean Payton listed all the rookies as #3 at their respective positions... so I modified my statement above.

Bo nix has the stink of fail about him and was a big reach at that draft number. I think they should have waited and taken Rattler much later - all in all I think Rattler will exceed Nix as far as NFL QB's go.

The same Broncos where Russell Wilson was supposed to lead them to multiple super bowls? How did that work out?

Run defense cant be any worse than last year.

I'm excited about the fact that it sounds like Woolen has a fire lit under him and MM keeps pushing Witherspoon, Tre Brown is in a contract year.

Biggest fear is LBer depth. I wonder if we grab some preseason cuts from other teams.

Payton is playing mind games with media and the league, our offense will be better with a solidified O line and a lot better run blocking if Conner is ready. The WR's will not be running route trees out of High School anymore. Defense is going to be a Break you were not bending instead of bend don't break.

A team like the Broncos with unproven QB play, Stidham has shown flashes in his spot duty when with the Raiders I believe but this will be different if he is the starter. Nix, well Rookie out of the gate will have growing pains, Wilson, the Zach one isn't going to scare you. Reports are he is struggling there also.

Perfect team for us to start with and beat up. We are not going to stop ourselves from scoring under Mac, it will be pile it on.

Teams with new coaching staffs usually come out of the gates strong. Lack of film to help the opponents prepare
