I'll be holding my breath like everyone else. I'm an Adams fan, always have been.
I’ll have to find the link(s)…when we first traded for him, I watched a video of him analyzing games and his intelligence is off the charts.

He knew exactly where the ball was going and anticipated movement on every…single…play.

Not just formation wise…he was breaking down the O-line (white knuckling vs pass block), RB’s toes pointed in certain directions, QB checking his TE…everything.

They even showed him games from other teams and asked him to predict the plays. He was spot on. He didn’t just say “run” or “pass”…I’m talking gaps, pulls, etc.

To be honest, it was a bit startling to me that someone could actually analyze so much, in such a short amount of time, and act upon it.

I'm glad to see him healthy enough to get back on the field, and I wish him well, but we all understand the timing and consequences of NFL contracts. $2.56M of his 2023 salary is fully guaranteed and that money is gone. This is about whether he'll be worth the remaining $8.44M for 2023. If the team thinks that he is then that's great - he'll be retained and the contract will be restructured to push some of the cap hit back. If the team doesn't think he's worth the money then they'll have to make a business decision before Week 1. I hope things work out.

Too bad our old QB wasn't like that...

It's a bummer that people can't just take some good news w/out the standard shots at the guy. Even just one time.
People seem to forget that he's a hell of a football player. And he can bring some legit havok in the backfield.
Take shots at him for being injured, then they take shots at him for coming off the PUP list

They MUST hold him back a little! He gives his all, but his body won't take it.
Says they going to work him in slowly. I hope so. Let's preserve him for the latter part of the season.
Or, only put him in if D d struggling.

From everything that I have read, Jamal Adams has been an excellent player, an ALL-PRO. He also played his game all out, all the time. The way he played might contributed to his injuries, but hey, I rather take a guy that goes all in then someone that regularly takes plays off.

Just my 2p.

That's the Spirit!!!!

Lol. Do you honestly think he's going to make an entire season without getting hurt again? I already I said I hope he does, but the realization of it is he'll probably get injured yet again because thats what he does.

Hope and expectations are different.

Never said he would, not even close. You should know I'm messing with you. We're cool. At least I think we are :ROFLMAO:

I'd rather have a person available during times of need than not have him available at all. Maybe Jamal needs to learn to reel it in sometimes because at this point, he's playing himself right out of the league within the next couple years.

So, you don't want him to play hard? You don't want him to play the way he can? Some players only play one way, full balls to the wall. Trying to hold back can also make a guy more injury prone. Dave Wyman talks about it all the time. Using Adams CORRECTLY is the true issue.
Let him rush the QB, hybrid type position. With his speed he can change a play in an instant.
Just for a second, think about when he first got here. The energy of the entire team jumped WAY up. People were feeding off this guy and his energy. Period.
