Retro game?

Now that the schedule is out (which I am not thrilled with) what game does everyone think the retro uniform game will be? My moneys in Thanksgiving unfortunately or fortunately depending on your view. Haven’t seen any announcements on it other than a bunch of 90’s CD covers announcing the matchups by the Seahawks social media people. I think the Titans release was funny as hell though, best schedule release this year I’ve seen.

The best time for the retros was last year, when the NFC West played the AFC West.
A home game against a former rival from the AFC West would have been perfect to pull out the uniforms from those days.

As sweet as last year's season-opening win against the still-loathed Broncos on national TV was, how much sweeter would it have been if it had been in the unis from the magical 1983 season? Imagine that, plus Largent, Krieg, and Curt-with-a-C Warner raising the 12 flag.

I don't see any games in the 2023 sked that would be particularly good for the '83-'01 uniforms. Of course, I don't know if there's such a thing as a bad day for them either. I'll be glad to see them whenever they show up.

And in 2026, when the AFC West plays the NFC West again, I hope the Seahawks use the retro uniforms in both of their home games against teams from the AFC West.

Agreed. Wish they would have been ready last year. Wearing them against the Broncos & Raiders would have been perfect. 2026 it is then.

Before I knew that the retros would be delayed a year and that our game vs. the Bucs would be in Germany, I was really hoping for a Class of ‘76 throwback game. Still bummed that we never got to see Brady in the Creamsicles.

Honestly, I wouldn't have liked it as much as you might think, because the Broncos uniforms were modern. Whoever we play in the throwbacks, I hope they're wearing a traditional uniform, something where the difference between now & then isn't very significant. Like the Digits, the Packers, the Giants, teams like that.

It would be cool if the Bronco's wore their pre Nike redo. With the "D" helmets
with the horse snorting cocaine .

That would look cool with Seahawk retros.

I'd like to see the Titans give up the rights to "Oilers" so the Houston Texans can rightly become the Houston Oliers again. Much better and fitting name in my book.

As for the retro game- I believe it will be the Thanksgiving game vs. 49ers.
