Heres a wrench in the machine, Bijan Robinson ? If they resign penny then this goes away, we need another back that isn't injury prone, that is a short yard specialist. Pete always talks about being commented to the run. Robinson would make a nice one two punch with Walker.

This is just a wild thought. Cheers

I agree we need a change of pace back for KW3, If using a higher pick on a RB I really like Gibbs for Seattle.

North South with burner speed, excellent receiver, needs work on pass protection, freak athlete with a totally different Style than Ken would be amazing, especially on a tired defense in the second half dare I say with a lead...

With Carr signing with the Saints for $150 mil, I doubt Geno re-signs. We would be crazy to hamstring ourselves with a big contract like that or anything remotely close to it.

I highly doubt JS will trade up. I feel he may stay put at #5 and grab BPA, but trading down to acquire even more picks while proclaiming they still ended up getting who they wanted all along is totally his M.O. so I could absolutely see that as well.

To me, re-signing Geno before the draft will play a significant factor in where they pick and who they pick with their first two selections. If Stroud or Young is there at #5, that may be too much potential to pass on. It's going to be incredibly intriguing to see what they do next month.
Do you really think Stroud or Young will be there at 5? Of course the draft grades are going to change as players rise and fall and things are going to look different than now when the draft comes.

Now that the Hawks are resigning Geno, if a quarterback hungry team wants to trade up to the fifth pick, they’ll know Seattle will more likely be willing to talk and likely not take a quarterback at that spot.

Not if one of the top 3 DL/edge types fall to us, I think. ;)

Trade down. We’re not taking a QB with the 5th pick.

See what we can get for it!

Pick up a LB and/or a DT in free agency.
Draft- Trade down from 5 to 9 and get Carolina's 2nd rounder #39.
Leaves us:

1) #9
1) #20
2) #37
2) #39
2) #52
3) #83
Day 3- 4th, 5th, 5th, 6th

Take Bijan Robinson at #9 and then fill in the blanks with DT, DE, LB, C & G/C.

Assuming that Stroud, Young and Richardson are among the top 4 picked, the question is do you want Anderson or Carter with pick #5, or do they have enough question marks that you trade down and hope to get Tyree Wilson at number 9?

I like Bijan Robinson, but that seems high for a RB, even though I've mocks that have him going pretty high. But if ever there was a Pete Carroll RB, he might be it. I still think we take Tyree Wilson if he's available.

And will Calijah Kancey or Nolan Smith be around at pick #20?

Multiple trades later, a 2024 first and second, two DTs, two EDs, a C and a G. A trench heavy draft.
