Thank you for your service.

2003 was my choice as well.

The trio of DJack, Koren Robinson, and Engram, as well as the emergence of Jerramy Stevens and Alexander hitting his stride as a star. Hasselebeck finally won control of the team and the trust of Holmgren. That team played with so much heart. It was sad when it came to a crashing end with the "we want the ball and we're gonna score!" game in Green Bay. But it was still a really fun team to watch

The one thing I do disagree with the OP is in regards to role models. Not to derail the thread but the 2013 team had plenty of good role models. Avril, Chancellor, Wagner, Sherm and Wilson all did great things for the community. The 2005 team had Alexander and Hass and Tatupu, great guys for sure. But notorious thug Jerramy Stevens will forever be a skid mark on this franchise. The things he did growing up in Olympia, beating up kids with baseball bats, then marrying his alter ego in Hope Solo. It's a shame he's the first Seahawk to catch a TD in the Superbowl.
Thank you, much appreciated.

Totally agree on all points. The first game of the season we hosted the Saints, who were favored, and I'll never forget the devastating hit Ken Hamlin put on Dante Stallworth. Oof, I felt that one up in the nose bleeds, still one of my favorite Seahawks related pics.
They were a good bunch of dudes, like you said, lots of heart. The loss in GB stung, but you knew the Hawks were just getting started. Good times!

Hamlin dropped Anquon Bolden the following week in AZ.

You're right, Manning only played in the first quarter but it was already 14-3.

That was a dark day, Tony Dungy wasn't there because his son had committed suicide.

Isn't it weird that things look old from 2005?

Everybody on the national view wanted us to lose that game because they felt sorry for Tony Dungy. The Seahawks were expected to play the "Washington Generals" role and just roll over for the Colts so that everyone could have a heartwarming story about Dungy. It's like, WTF??? How disrespectful can you get?

That's a major reason why I was so happy we won that game. Not to be disrespectful to Dungy or his situation at the time, but rather to be respectful of our own team and fans, and have a backbone for ourselves. Why in the hell should we be expected to lose??? Just because we're "only the nobody Seahawks."

Top three for me are certainly 2013, 2005 and (Hawkstorian beat me to it) 1992 (such a great defense...Cortez, Porter, Robinson, Bl)

But 2005 for personal reasons.

I could finally see what I already knew coming to the NFL at large. These Seahawks are legit. So for an early Christmas present, I bought my Step Father (and I of course...) seats on the 50 yard line in the 300 level for November 27th - the Giants.

I knew this would finally say rather they could beat the East Coast teams and set them on the path to Superbowl, and after a few hexes cast on Feely for him to miss three FGs, laughing at Shockey dancing on the sidelines...we sent them packing with a new record for false start penalties with 11.

Who was that guy we were sitting next to...

Trying not to live in the past, my favorite is 2025 Hawks with John Schneider as the face! A defense powered by Macdonald and an offense to be carried by Sam Darnold or Drew Lock. A season with top 5 defense and top 10 offense.

2012 was my favorite cause the team was the hungriest team I’d ever seen. It was fun watching rookie Russell Wilson defeat every legend qb in the game and the throw to beat the patriots was one of the prettiest things I’ve ever seen, ❤️ Sydney Rice ❤️

Yeah they lost to the niners and then it was the harbaugh bowl but we got epic paybacks and won it all the next time out

The '84 season is probably my favorite. I was just a little young to get excited about chuck knox coming to town in '83, I was just starting to get into football at all. But by the time the '84 season started I was pumped for a team that had a legit shot at a super bowl. The change in the team when Warner went down in the first game, from Ground Chuck to Air Knox was amazing...but as I look at the numbers probably not as good as I remember. But that defense.....holy crap. They set records that even the LOB didn't touch - 4 pick sixes against the Chiefs being the big one. I also seem to remember there were quite a few blocked kicks that year by Rusty Tillman's special teams. 2013 was amazing but 1984 was foundational in my appreciation of the game.

1986 was a really great year as well and if they would’ve made the playoffs, I think they would’ve won the Super Bowl. They were so hot at the end of the year.

The 83, 05 and 13 teams are obvious favorites, but one of my favorite teams was 1998. I had incredibly high hopes for that team. This was Erickson's best team, with loads of speed. Than Moon got hurt in that downpour in KC week 5, thus ending the dream and beginning the torture of Kitna Kaboodles. I was also at the game where they gave Vinnie that phantom TD to effectively eliminate us.
QB Moon
RB Watters
FB Strong
WR Galloway / Pritchard
TE Fauria
T Jones / Ballard
G Kendall / Habib
C Glover

DE Sinclair / Daniels
DT Kennedy / Adams
LB Brown / Simmons / Smith
DBs W.Williams / Springs / D.Williams / Bellamy

Yes, 98 was a very forgotten year in how good that team was. I was at the Testaverde game as well. Beautiful day I remember, warm for December. I was sitting all the way up and even from where I was sitting, you could see he didn’t get in. That team had a ton of talent.
