I mean 50yds at half on 55% throwing is not ideal. People crapped on wilson every game he struggled. Its what it is.

TB blitzing like banshees. We need to counter. Enough of this nonsense.

Other than 2 bad plays, the play calling has been bad today. Waldron is more awful than Geno today.

Or maybe folks are just pointing out the truth? Geno has played great so far this season, today he has played like ass so far today. No reason to white knight his bad play.

PS. The defense is playing like ass too.
D is getting held on every play!! Literally every play. Geno is playing like trash also DK should have held on to that last pass

If someone is playing like ass, then they’re playing like ass.

And he’s playing like ass.

Geno only had one bad drive and one bad decision (not running on that one play). Our offense has sucked because we ran a game plan that has produced these exact same results every other time we've done it this year.

He hasn't been sharp today but Waldron isn't doing a good job getting him in rhythm like he normally does.

One dude was open on that 3rd and long, but Geno stares down DK and throws to him in double coverage. Incomplete, and still 0- for xx on 3rd down conversions.

I thought Seattle is supposed to be playing loose with found money?

More like tighter than a Ludwig snare drum.

Yeah, every 2 or 3 games, we end up in this 'let's try and run the ball down the throat' tight play calling. And we always look like this.

Geno got clocked on a blitz where he was had dead to rights, responded with a tight throw to get them back on schedule. Run game pisses it away on third and one.

Give him a chance to get in rhythm, man. That'll open up the run game, too. It's worked all year. Waldron has too many games like this.

Exactly. Geno has been fine except for one drive and one bad choice.

This was the result of play calling that made no damn sense from the jump. Why is our first play after TB's first TD ANOTHER inside handoff?

He’ll bounce back. Hopefully, PC adjusts after the half.

Definitely a forgettable first half though.

He has a first half of 50 yards, walking backwards while taking sacks and ignoring easy first down runs. Sorry in no way is this anything apart from the worst half of football he has played all year and it’s not even close.

Let’s hope he wakes up at half time and Waldron switches up to a quick release game. Combination of these two may help us get back into this.

This is the key. They want Geno to pass to beat them. They are mixing up zone blitzes. We have yet to counter. We have not gone to our TEs. Lockett has not got any action. This team can beat the blitz if they adjust.

It's probably one of his worst, yes - but it's also the worst team-wide. It's not like he's an outlier here, and he HAS had good moments - like the one I just wrote and you're quoting in your post.

The "utterly abysmal" and "mind-numbingly awful" stuff - can't get behind that. More like a substandard half with a similarly faltering supporting cast.

The Bucs are living in our backfield, and Geno's not getting any help from the run game. Not an ideal start, but I don't think he's the issue.
