To be fair though, I was relatively happy with this crew. They weren't flag happy, they didn't fudge up some momentum changing moment, and they seemed to treat both sides equal.

Did they let NY get away with a PI on Metcalf early? Yeah, but they remained stingy with those calls when we were on the other side as well.

people misspeak. it isn't a biggie
No the creation of "mis spoke" was created by Hillary Clinton when she was caught out on a down right lie of being under fired on the tarmac.

So mis spoke is a statement to cover for a lie.

Did he have a mind fart?

Absolutely we all do like calling your current wife by your former wife's name. Lol

No politics here but I have actually made that mistake. It was a long night...

What I didn't get is that the penalty was applied "after the play was over". I thought you could only interfere during the play?

Not politics at all explaining where the words mis spoke come from. Nothing more. Facts are not politics
That's not where the words 'misspoke' comes from (you can easily look up the etymology online and it's been around since well before she--or anyone of us--was born), so it's not a fact and it seems unnecessary to bring up in this thread...?

That's a good question though in this case I'm glad it applied after the play was over. We got the first down which was more important than the yards at that point.
