The only thing .Com does right is training camp coverage.
Notes...
Lock 2 TDs
Smith 0 TDs/1 INT
Starting Defence kept the starting offence from getting to the red zone..
Adams is back with a cast and broke up a pass.
Rookie DBs continue to shine. Pass break up and a loss of yards tackle in the back field.
Nwosu gets a pick.
Cross is moving well.

I agree with OP regarding Seahawks.com. I don't visit the site much but have been liking the TC updates. They're also posting interviews with players and coaches that have been interesting.

My QB stats for day: Smith 4-6 in 3rd-down drill, 3-5 red zone drill, 2-6 on two drives with 1 INT, 1 TD, 9-17 overall with 1 INT, 1 TD; Lock 2-6 3rd down drill, 1-4 red zone drill, 5-9 on 2 drives with 2 TDs, 8-19, 2 TDs overall.

Sounds like the young DBs are really shining. Jones, Burns and Bryant specifically. Smith and Lock have been really hit or miss with a lot of miss, but part of that is excellent coverage, getting the timing down with Metcalf, etc. It's worth noting Lock has no INTs in camp so far but Smith has 4. That could also be because Smith is always going up against the #1 D.

Yeah, I'd like to see Lock get more reps with the ones so we can get a better head-to-head comparison. I expect that'll come at some point once they're sure he's got the offense down.

Interceptions have always plagued Smith when he had considerable playing time. His first two seasons with the Jets he threw combined total of 34 interceptions.

Hopefully that is not the Geno that is showing up again. Then again, he can throw all the INTs in practice he wants as long as he doesn't do it when it counts, if he wins the QB battle.

Really hoping to see Lock get more time with 1's, it feels like the offense is Geno's right now and at this point we all know who he is. He had a hard time even landing on a roster besides the Seahawks, so I don't even know if he'd still be in the league if not for Pete. Lock at least has some flashes of big time talent and has the arm to make those deep Russ-esq throws. Problem always has been making dumb decisions at critical times.

My guess is Pete wants to run the ball and play excellent D while Geno just settles for punts if nothing obvious works to keep games close.

QBs suffer with INTs in practice, ie Sherm's "YOU SUCK" abuse towards Russ after an INT during practice. That being said, one would expect more INTs from Lock than Geno, as Geno worked with our WRs for years.

3 and outs has been our thing for last few years. As bad as 3 and outs, it's way better than INTs or fumbles. Al Davis liked to mix long bombs with power running, I assume the bombs stretches the defense a little and prevented them from stacking the box??

I get the feeling "it counts" right now...........practice or not, he's under a microscope
