Mods - please move if necessary.

Just wanted to say that after using the new forum software for a while - I quite like it!

Thanks for the upgrade. I'm sure there's things that other miss - but I love some of the new features and searches. Love the latest posts shortcuts and the alerts and everything. Love the likes on posts and lots of other features.

That's about it - I'm sure the long-timers around here probably have 100 comments on what's the same/different/better - but my vote is 'it's great'.

Thanks for the efforts!!!

I lurk here occasionally. I created an account to tell you this is the best performing forum software I have ever seen. Well done and thanks!

I wish the 'view your posts' navigation was a little easier. The old one had the link on the home page. But other than that, it looks great!

I'm still getting used to what's different about it but everything seems to be working very well and it has lots of bells and whistles to explore. I think in a short time we'll all find it to be a nice improvement, while maintaining the existing stuff that makes it familiar to us all.

I had nothing to do with it, but on behalf of the new owner thanks for the positive comment 49fan.

Change your title to include Seahawks Football so the thread is relevant.

It certainly has added a lot of quality-of-use features that we had adapted around. Search freedom, copy/pasting images, auto-embedding for Twitter and other sites... lots to love.

Now they just need to get the viewed thread font color to change to gray and give us an option to remove the sidebar.

Can I like a post more than once? If so, notyou gets my many upvotes.

Working on that. You just want it to have a bigger difference(look) after it has been read, as the colors now are to close to tell. Is that right.

The new software is far better than the old one, no comparison there. For me, I would like two enhancements:

1. Integration with tapa talk, that makes posting with phone easier.
2. I understand under the thumb up-like; one could pick like, love, haha, wow, sad and angry, but reaction score only track like? would be fun to have thumb down-disagree in addition to like, love, haha, wow, sad and angry; and track that too.

But very happy with the new software, and the transaction was seamless, good job.

I don't plan on adding TT as I have always hated the app as I have zero control of any of it. The like buttons I plan on fixing and tweaking soon. The setting now are just default.

I may not get on it right away, but it will eventually be on. Not sure if I will have a negative rating, but a neutral one will available.

Sure, or a "Agree" and "Disagree". Like if I advocate trading DK Metcalf, I deserve bunch of disagrees. Disagree isn't negative in my opinion, just a different view.

Yes. It's difficult to tell the difference on my phone without really looking. Having viewed topics and threads gray would make it much easier to see if I've read something as I have every bit of the side bar blocked by uBlock origins. Although that just leaves a big empty space on the right when I'm on my desktop.

You are mostly talking in forum sections, as in thread title color changes(when viewed or not viewed). Just want to make sure.

Any of the topics that have been read when you are on the main forum page & any thread title in any sub forum that have been read. They don't need to be grayed out when you are in a specific thread that you are viewing.

I understand the desire to avoid negative ratings clashes between posters but a negative rating for spam, racism, or general trolling is helpful for community moderating against those things. There is an option or add-on to automatically hide posts or suspend accounts if they get too many negative ratings. This site has a recent history of being subjected to spam attacks which moderators weren't authorised or weren't around to deal with. It's more effective than IP or Cloudflare location blocking. Obviously you would need to have tighter control of multiple accounts with such a system.

Yes, we would very much love like the old software had it where there is a nice contrast of color on the threads you have already clicked on before. Gray is the color it used to be and looked great. Right now a viewed thread still has the same green color, simply unbolded text. Not enough visual contrast. However, this new software blows the old software away. Well done sir. If you fix this issue it will be glorious.

I have done the negative ratings on another forum and it got royally abused. I like you idea, but that would mean any a user that hates another user can give the users decent thread negative feedback, and have his friends do the same, and eventually that thread would disappear. I can see that happening.
