As good as we make backups look and as crappy as Wentz has been against us I’m going “maybe” leaning “yes”

Philly doesnt win even with Wentz. They were banged up on O-line as well. Maybe they get in field goal range one more time but thats it. Seahawks were the better team tonight no doubt about it. Russ + DK/Lockett was unstoppable. Philly had no answer.

It was 8/8 for over a 100 yards at one point in the second half

What does Wentz do? Kick the FG at 6mins left and be smart and they may win.

This. They played much more aggressive football after he went out.

Never know. Wentz presented a known factor that Pete likely planned for. McGowan was an unknown variable who did surprisingly well.

He probably would have ran away from several of the sacks. We had seven today, but somehow managed to get no pressure on McCown. Luckily we were chasing down a 40 year old. That being said, like someone said earlier Wentz didn’t look sharp when he played either.

I don't always find 'what if' scenarios incredibly useless, but when I do, they are incredibly useless.

Wentz is overrated. I still think we win, but who cares. He got hurt. We won.

Would the Blazers have won multiple championships if they drafted Jordan?

No, but the Bulls would have with Sam Bowie.

Did they win last time?

Were they moving the ball with him?

Thought so!

Absolutely no way to answer that question.

Clowney should have been ejected IMO.

And just like with Wentz (who would have been out for the game regardless of if Clowney were ejected or not), there's no way to know what would have happened if Clowney was ejected.

Suppose Clowney got ejected and Wentz kept on playing the game. The Seahawks still could have ended up winning. Once you start fiddling with the dials who's to say.

These types of hyptheticals are only good for trying to reach predetermined conclusions IMO.

The game was played and the Seahawks won it, and that won't be changed by fiddling with hypothetial dials.

IF LOLOL, If the dog hadn't stopped to take a sh*t he'd have caught the rabbit.
I don't know, NOR DO I really care what any Eagles fan has to say about the loss.
Wentz wasn't exactly hitting on all cylinders while HE WAS IN THERE, so NO, they wouldn't have won, and there sure as hell is NO argument that the outcome would have been any different.
Seahawks WIN :stirthepot:

Well, Pete said they changed the defensive scheme once Wentz went down and I thought the D looked the best they had all year with Wentz out there, so who knows.
