Two offensive tackles, that's it, there is enough cap room to go out and get them. The two they brought in this year were joke. How come the Seahawks can get decent players at every other position? Look at Hester and Reece, came in and made significant contributions for far less money than the two disasters at OL. Who's fault is that? Take a wild guess, if Cable isn't gone look for next year to be a carbon copy of the last two.

Two tackles and an Offensive Coordinator that can adjust accordingly during the game, doesn't script plays, doesn't try to outsmart HIMSELF, and can figure out how to use all the weapon we have. Get that...we are the team to beat next year.

Nah. A less expensive QB, then it can be absurdly loaded like in 2013. But unfortunately those situations only last until the QB passes their rookie deal, maximum.

They also need Sherman to play as good as he thinks he is, or, maybe he is :/

Patriots proved it can be done consistently, just can't get too attached to your veteran players and over pay them and draft well.

I don't think Heater and Reece made far less than the two street free agent tackles still on their rookie deals.

Guessing he was referring to Sowell and Webb.

Webb is a 2.35 mil cap hit this year, Jahri Evans got a mil, and Sowell got a mil so they were paid a lot more money than Reece and Hester who only played a few games BUT that isn't the point, the point is that the combined intelligentsia surrounding the Seahawks' offensive line are a monumental failure. If Seattle even has a decent line they are in the mix for a SB.

The Seahawks' FO should be forming a committee right now to go out and get best OL coaches out there regardless of cost, they have the money and there is no cap on coaches.

Are we finishing the sentence?

...to trade Graham and put his money in the O-line. We don't need him drawing double coverage if opponents have to respect the run game. Bevell seems more comfortable with that scheme anyway.

And be willing to do things differently as circumstance dictates.

team needs 2 tackles, an offensive coordinator, a defensive coordinator and a big physical corner with some ball skills on the other side of sherm and a healthy earl.

I thought of that but you are trading a top-3 pass-catching TE, really? How good would he be with an improved O-Line?

Besides, I don't think the Seahawks need his money w/35 mil cap available.

Trading Graham makes no sense tell the OC to incorporate Graham into the offense more then that will open up everything.

Two offensive tackles is a nice start.

This team needs more than that, though.

It's rotting from the inside right now.

Been a slow decline since the lost SB.

Beginning of the end of the Pete Carroll era IMO. Would like it to be otherwise, but that's how it feels.

I kind of agree. 2 decent tackles would have at least helped this team win 2-3 more games this past season. Anyone who watched the Cowboys - Packers game saw what kind of offense can be generated by a decent offensive line.

But it's clear that's not going to happen. Bevell doesn't tailor his offense to his players, so we should at least tailor the roster to him.

For the record, I agree with you, and would rather see a new OC next year. But I don't expect that to happen, so let's at least give Bevell tools he understands how to use. If Bevell wants a blocking TE, then let's dip into the draft for a lumbering wall of a man for a fraction of the price.
